Krauthammer’s Potentially Damaging Theory: Benghazi’s ‘Biggest Scandal of All’ Has Yet to Be Uncovered — See What It Is

Columnist Charles Krauthammer on the “O’Reilly Factor” Tuesday night said the “biggest scandal of all” regarding the Benghazi attacks on Sept. 11, 2012, has yet to emerge.
“I think there is a bigger story here, here’s the one that will in time come out,” Krauthammer said. ”The biggest scandal of all, the biggest question is: What was the president doing in those eight hours?”
“He had a routine meeting at five o’clock. He never after, during the eight hours when our guys have their lives in danger, he never called the Secretary of Defense, he never calls the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, he never calls the CIA Director,” Krauthammer continued. “Who does he call? About five hours in he calls the Secretary of State. And after the phone call she releases a statement essentially about the video and how we denounce any intolerance. It looks as if the only phone call was to construct a cover story at a time when the last two Americans who died were still alive and fighting for their lives. There’s the scandal and that has to be uncovered.”

Krauthammer’s thoughts come as the Obama administration is in the throes of several other scandals, including the IRS targeting conservative groups and two cases of the Department of Justice conducting investigations into leaks that involved obtaining Associated Press reporters’ phone records and the emails of Fox News reporter James Rosen.
Also on the show, Krauthammer addressed Attorney General Eric Holder who has been under fire for how the Justice Department obtained information regarding members of the media for its investigations.
Krauthammer said he thinks Holder “would have to go because he is a liability to the president.” A couple weeks ago, President Barack Obama said he had “complete confidence in Eric Holder as attorney general.”
Krauthammer acknowledged Obama’s support for Holder but said “now he learns that he clearly did not say the truth, and he can’t pretend that he didn’t remember because he signs a lot of stuff.
“Because the release from the Department of Justice was, he didn’t only sign the search warrant against Rosen that essentially named him as a co-defendant, criminal co-defendant, he actually discussed it. So he can’t say like Hillary did, ‘Oh, I sign a lot of stuff. I can’t remember,’” Krauthammer said.

Secretary of State John Kerry Demonstrates Proficiency in Lying and Deception

Secretary of State John Kerry was just in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, speaking to a group of young adults. He spoke on climate change, the use of drones, the war in Iraq, the economy and the terrorist watch list. According to Fact Check, Kerry skillfully lied, exaggerated and spoke half-truths.
On the topic of climate control, Kerry told the Ethiopians:

“We’re below the Kyoto levels now.”

Fact: The Kyoto Protocol of 1997 was never ratified by the US Senate. It called for the US to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 6% of the 1990 levels. As of 2011, greenhouse gas emissions have been lowered, but they are still up 9.5% over the 1990 levels.
On the topic of drones, Kerry told the Ethiopians:

“The only people that we are going after are confirmed terrorist targets, at the highest level. … We will not fire when we know there are children or collateral damage. … I am convinced that we have one of the strictest, most accountable and fairest programs.”

Fact: In the past decade, US drones have killed 3,364 people. Most of them were militants and not all of the militants were of the highest level. An untold number of civilians have also been killed by drones. The New America Foundation keeps track of drone strikes and casualties and estimates that about 20% of all drone attack victims were non-combatants.
On the topic of the war in Iraq, Kerry told the Ethiopians:

“I opposed the president’s decision to go into Iraq.”

Fact: Before voting against the war in Iraq, Kerry voted to approve the $87 billion to pay for the war. Kerry was for the war before he was against it.
On the topic of the economy, Kerry told the Ethiopians:

“I’m here to try to help. President Obama wants to try to help. And maybe our legacy will be what we do to try to help. I think of what we’ve done with PEPFAR. I was proud. I wrote that legislation.”

Fact: PEPFAR (President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) was launched in 2003 under President George W. Bush, therefore it is part of his legacy and not Obama’s. Yes, Kerry and Sen Bill Frist wrote the framework for the original bill.
On the topic of terrorism, Kerry told the Ethiopians:

“The requirement for the Taliban to come to the table was that they agree that they will not engage in violence against other people and violence against other countries; they won’t engage in terrorism and they will not threaten the Afghanistan constitution and so forth.”

Fact: Even though those are the conditions laid out by the US government, they still met with the Taliban in 2011 without ever obtaining an agreement from them to support the Afghan constitution or cease their hostilities.
On the topic of terrorism, Kerry told the Ethiopians:

“Boko Haram is a terrorist organization.”

Fact: Boko Haram has never been officially designated as a terrorist organization by the State Department, although they have issued sanctions against some of Boko Haram’s leaders.
Apparently, John Kerry’s thirty years in politics has helped him polish his ability to stand before an audience and tell half-truths, exaggerations and even lies. Some of the same lies he told the Ethiopians are the ones that helped to cost him the 2004 Democratic presidential primary.



John Kerry filled Hillary Clinton’s shoes quite well, didn’t he? He also fits in very well with the rest of Obama’s cabinet, including Obama himself. With this FACT CHECK report being available online, why would anyone, any diplomat or any nation ever believe a word that comes out of his mouth?
