Update on DREAM! More Action Needed
Urge your Senators to Continue to Push for the DREAM Act!


Earlier this week, Senators Richard Durbin (D-IL), Chuck Hagel (R-NE), and Richard Lugar (R-IN) introduced the "DREAM Act" as an amendment to the Department of Defense (DOD) authorization bill on the Senate floor.

Unfortunately, the DOD bill was pulled off of the floor on Wednesday due to a failed and unrelated amendment on the Iraq war. Therefore, a vote on the DREAM Act did not occur.

However, the DOD bill and other viable legislative vehicles are likely to come up in September on the Senate floor, and a vote on the "DREAM Act" can occur at that time.

Your calls and emails to the Senate have been working! We must keep up this activity throughout the months of July and August and urge the Senate to pass the "DREAM Act" as soon as possible.

Call and send an email to your senators and urge them to support the "DREAM Act!" If your senator is not an official cosponsor of the bill, urge them to cosponsor today! You can find your Senators' phone numbers here .

Defeating the DREAM Act is essential. It will send a message that the little tricks Congress uses to dupe the American people will no longer work. It will also prove to the illegals that American citizens are no longer asleep at the wheel, and that their amnesty trickery will never work again.

Calls, faxes, and emails must continue for the next three months to overcome the messages they're receiving from the illegals.

Not going to happen LaRaza. We are tired of paying for illegal alien lawbreaker freebies and once again we will make our voices heard. We kicked some elite arse twice, we'll do it again until they get the picture.

We have to make defeating this a priority, as well as the AgJOBS bill. The Dream Act has been kicking around for awhile, and I wouldn't want it to pass now!
