Civitas Poll: Voters Urge Cooper to Support Arizona Immigration Law
Raleigh, N.C. – A new poll released today by the Civitas Institute reveals that 51 percent of North Carolina voters want state Attorney General Roy Cooper to support Arizona’s enforcement of new immigration laws.
According to the live caller poll of 600 likely voters, 51 percent of voters said they believe Cooper should join with nine other state Attorneys General to support Arizona’s immigration law enforcement. Twenty-eight percent said they do not believe Cooper should join in support, and 21 percent said they are not sure.
