Thread: When the fight against this invasion is over

When the fight against this invasion is over....we must band together to fight the flood of Chinese products here! We must fight the exporting of more of our jobs.

After this fight, anyone game for another fight?

when this fight is over, hopefully we will have a new Congress -- END OF PROBLEM

New congress and Senate. The presidents position will take care of its self. But the way these congressman and senators are acting it might just help to clean house of all that offend the Legal american citizens. Get rid of all Bad Republican and Democratic senators and congressmen.

moosetracks, I agree that the next battle to save our nation should be to jerk a knot in the tail of the Chinese importers.

But let's do this one first.

As for a new congress, that will be nice and hopefully we will be better off than we are today as a result. But we can never ever let up on them again or twenty years from now we will be right back in the same boat. And, in all honesty, 20 years from now I'll be too dang old to fight!

Jo, me too. I buy anything BUT Chinese if I have to buy anything at all. And sometimes I just do without if it would have been an impulse buy anyway.

But we have to fix it so that we aren't limited to Chinese imports. Unless everyone stops buying it, they are going to keep sending it in by the smelly shiploads and I still think that the illegals that come by ship are stowed away among the crates if not IN the crates of chinese junk.

Mamie, I thought that up this morning when I was writing a letter to someone I discuss this situation with frequently. I figured I may as well use it as my signature.

And, in my opinion, pit bulls should be illegal everywhere. They are way too unpredictable. They are very popular around here and several times a year, another dog, an adult or a kid gets mauled-- some to death.

A serious answer to a not too serious post -

No, America should not try to exist without the rest of the world - not sure it couldn't - but until we get serious with energy - no.

But America can't survive if we don't get some sanity into our trade practices and demand that our trading 'partners' deal with us on a fair and equitable basis.

We need Fair Trade - not Free Trade.
