I don't know if someone else posted this one earlier or not. It bothers me that they are only investigating the leak and not why she is still here.

WASHINGTON -- The government is investigating whether any laws were broken involving details about the disclosure that Barack Obama's aunt was living in the country illegally.

The Associated Press learned late Friday learned that Obama's half aunt, who is from Kenya, was ordered to leave the United States years ago after an immigration judge denied her request for asylum.

The woman, Zeituni Onyango, is living in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama's late father.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement asked its inspector general and the Office of Professional Responsibility on Saturday to investigate whether any policies were violated when information about Onyango's case was publicly disclosed.

The Homeland Security Department, which oversees ICE, cannot disclose details about an individualÕs immigration status.

Obama said Saturday he did not know his aunt was living in the United States illegally and believes that laws covering the situation should be followed.

Perhaps we should start contacting ICE, DHS, and our friendlies in Congress and demand to know why the investigation is being directed toward where the information came from instead of why this woman is still here, working for the HA, and living in a free apartment at tax payer expense.

I'd also love to know why all deportations suddenly need special approval until the election is over. Are they afraid they might pick up more of Obama's relatives?

Personally, since the Obama camp keeps trying to distance him from this aunt by expounding on the fact that she is a "half".......thereby implying that there is nothing "special" about her where Obama is concerned......I don't think she should be afforded any "special" treatment.

Now that they know where she is....ICE you have no choice but to kick her out.....Having no respect for our laws must be a family trait

ICE better hurry up before she decides to take refuge in a church.

just a thought....could be he's afraid she might expose some of his lies, by accident IF someone decides to try and talk to her.

OR maybe he's already had the law changed without our knowing.
