Schwarzenegger poll numbers hit Gray Davis levels Although California voters say they still support President Obama, they are far less courteous when it comes to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the state Legislature.

Schwarzenegger's poll numbers are now exactly the same as Gray Davis' numbers in August 2003, two months before he was recalled by California voters.The poll found about one in five voters (22%) currently approves of Schwarzenegger's performance as governor, while 70% disapprove. They are the worst poll numbers the Field Poll has ever reported for Schwarzenegger since he took office. Schwarzenegger's numbers hit a high watermark of 65% in September 2004.

The silver lining is that Schwarzenegger's numbers are better than the Legislature's numbers. Only 16% of those surveyed have a favorable impression of state legislators while 74% disapprove. The good news? Those numbers reflect a 3% increase in the Legislature's approval ratings since March. Well hate to offend any California members; but seriously the state is so screwed up. When you elect people like Arnold and S Bono; you are not really serious about elected representatives... They are brain dead in CA... so why in the hell does my state and my family have to suffer for their failures?

Your attitude is exactly why California is in the state it is. Evidently you have chosen to ignore post from Californian's that have been fighting these issues for years. Tell me exactly how your state and family have to suffer for our failures, and be more explicit as to what failures you are talking about.

Curious how you pick out Arnold and S Bono, why because they were movie stars; if that is the case don't forget Ronald Regan.

We passed proposition 187 and Gray Davis (LEFT WING PROGRESSIVE) let It die. It could have been appealed with some minor adjustments and probably been put Into law. The DEMOCRATS came Into power and basically killed It for good.... TS

Arnold is not even a RINO. He's acutally an imposter playing a role. He's supposed to be a moderate republican. He's really a democrat. He couldn't run as a democrat during the recall election because Davis was a democrat and there were other democrats running in the recall election. So he used the Republican party. He's actually a better actor than most people think he is. It's just too bad for Arnold they don't give out Oscars for that kind of acting.

Even today there are Californians who are fighting the good fight - the same fight they have for decades - against illegal aliens.

Any California Governor who wants credibly high approval numbers should do what all Governors before them should have done . . .

Fight against mexico's illegal alien invasion WITH Californians.

Those numbers are that low because it's the government and state legislature who has held firm on behalf of illegal aliens . . .

AGAINST the will of the majority of Californians.

California's legislature since May 1, 2006, has taken of mexico's May 1st boycott to SHUT DOWN AMERICA - in honor of mexico, who has dual demonstrations on the same May 1st day that's been called "no gringo day".

Gringo is as much a racial slur as the "N" word and the "damp back" racial slur against mexcians.

And mexicans who hate America know that full well, and mean it fully against all Americans who oppose them - no matter what color the gringos are.
