Left-Wing Extremists Want to 'Reconquista' Southwest

This is just a joke. Have you noticed there are no police in sight to stop this stupid crap. If it was an American Citizen doing this they would be taking us down to jail.

The Aztecs might have survived as a notable race except for their peculiar downfall: sacrificing thir neighbors. Even their own prophecies indicated that Huezolipochtli (their God) would soon return and the sight of Hernan Cortes and his men mounted on horseback confirmed this belief. The Aztecs neighbors were more than happy to cooperate with Cortes' subjugation of the Azteca, since they were rather incensed at being regularly offerd up as human sacrifices, purportedly to ensure that the sun would continue rising.

Exact figures of the overall sum of people sacrificed by the Aztecs are hard to come by, since no one is sure when it started. Some scholars believe that 20,000 sacrifices of living humans were made each year toward the finale of the Aztec dynasty. However, a short (historically) time before Cortes arrival there was rededication of an important Aztec temple---and somewhere between 10, 000 and 85,000 Indians lost their lives.

Huezolipochtli had, many centuries earlier, commanded the Azteca to travel south and settle in a new land. So the legend goes. There is no substantiation that the Aztec were ever commanded to reverse course. Cannibalism was away of life for the Aztec leadership--hence the human sacrifice--so if they had headed back north it would have been very troubling for the other indigenous groups. The history that we do know of indigenous peoples suggest that it was full of skirmishing, attacks and invasion. When one tribe found a way of exploiting an advantage over its neighbors it was usually prone to do so.

WE DEMAND THE COMPLETE END OF THE OCCUPATION COLONIALISM OF OUR CONTINENT BY EUROPEANS, AND REPARATIONS FOR THEIR THEFTS AND CRIMES AGAINST OUR PEOPLE.
Who are the Europeans?? What if I'm half European and half-indian? Does that half me gets to stay and the other half leave???

AH, we get to the heart of the matter.....get some govt. money....some more freebies....maybe special treatment.

My grand grandmother was a Cherokee Indian. It has NEVER crossed my mind to demand reparations for the "Trail of Tears." I don't harbor one iota of resentment and don't understand these wackos who want high schools to change the name of their mascots because it disrespects indians. You can't even show the Bugs Bunny cartoons with Indian Joe anymore. It's too insensitive. That's nuts! What's wrong with these people?? Doesn't present day life have enough problems without trying to dig up the past and get a apology for something that happened to your ancestors. People never succeed in life because they are too busy trying somehow to correct the past and living in it. Does anybody think that people wanting the govt. to apologize for past sins is anything but a ploy to get into the federal coffers?

It's my firm belief that they could care less what happened to their ancestors, but they want to get in on some on that money of casinos and special status that the American Indians got and the whole scheme is nothing but a power and money grubbing scheme. I can't understand any sane person getting worked up over what happened hundreds of years ago. I don't think anybody can work up that kind of hate.

    BINGO!!! YAHTZEE!!! CHECKMATE!!!
Molding the past to justify your current agenda is a ploy the haters use because their ideals can't stand on their own.

the mexicans lost the territory in a war and then accepted a huge payment for the lost land.

they have ZERO CLAIM to any part of the US.

these morons are just using this old greivance to stir up trouble and promote their brown racist agendas.

any mexican who tells you different is a stone liar. well, that counts for most of them.

but yes, these brown supremacist zeroes are actually serious about this, so they need to get a harsh dose of reality. get out now!
