Patriot, yes, I know the battle of Goliad well. I have been to the Fannin Monument many times over the years and read the names. It is humbling to know that the remains of over 400 Texas patriots lie below your feet. I like the Alamo Flag message "Come and Get It!" I like the sentiment but this might be a little harsh for some of the more sensitive Alipacers
    How about "Remember America!"

Alot of BRAVE AMERICANS died at the Alamo and reading the history of the battle is fascinating. One story that does NOT get the attention it should is the MASSACRE at Goliad... It took place approximately 4 weeks before the Battle at the Alamo, and the Mexican Army murdered 400 Americans...BECAUSE THEY WERE AMERICANS!
So, when the American forces moved their way towards Mexico City...
Their Battle Cry was...REMEMBER GOLIAD! REMEMBER THE ALAMO!
    Today...WE NEED A BATTLE CRY.
...I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid...
