Thread: Letter to Congress and Obama

Our elected officials could cut way more than the sequester will, if they had any real concern for this country, just by bringing our troops home and quit getting into other countries messes that will never end. By immediately stopping all arms "Gifts" to all foreign nations, including Mexico, other than long held allies and stop ALL foreign aid until we get our budget under control. How come the only cuts that are EVER threatened are the ones that benefit tax paying Americans, social security, military pay and benefits, Medicare, fire, police, schools, but never do we hear about cuts to foreign aid, we borrow money from China and then send them billions in foreign aid, I can't see on what planet, in what universe this make sense????? You never seriously tackle government waste fraud, Congressional benefits, pay, staff, and expense accounts, fancy boondoggles to "work", and way to frequent travel and on and on. Remember you work for US we do not work for you. Our elected officials rebuild countries all over the world, but don't have the money to rebuild our own roads and bridges. We have no money for schools, but our elected officials continue to spend billions building schools around the world. Our elected officials give billions to countries who would like nothing better than to see all Americans wiped of the planet, using our money and weapons to do so and this makes sense to you? Our elected officials have ignored our immigration laws for nearly thirty years and now you want to just say, "No problem, come on in, we have plenty of freebies for you." States like CA spend billions every year on benefits and education for illegal immigrants, BILLIONS, one state! How many billions do you think is spent in all fifty states combined? Why don’t you fix the bleeding of billions in IRS fraud, Medicaid fraud, and Medicare fraud and on and on? All our elected officials seem to know is how to threaten the working middle class, our military and always our seniors who have spent their lives forced to pay into a broken system. A system that is forced on every working taxpayer and that our elected officials broke when they stole Social Security and dumped it into the federal piggy bank. It's been the same old lines and the same old threats for way too long. We need you to do your jobs and to quit sending our hard earned tax dollars everywhere but here. Quit giving benefits to people who broke our laws and start enforcing the laws you swore an oath to uphold. Bottom line, QUIT GIVING OUR MONEY AWAY! Start working for the AMERICAN people.
