A Letter to Supporters of Tom Tancredo

A Letter to Supporters of Tom Tancredo (Updated to Include Mike Huckabee)

Today is a sad day for conservatism. Another candidate has dropped out of the GOP race, one of the few candidates that can actually be considered conservative. Right now, the media is shoving several moderate candidates down our throats, and forcing the actually conservative candidates to the bottom of the race. Tom Tancredo was one such candidate.

Not only was Tom Tancredo one of the few conservatives in the race, he was one of the few that could be trusted when it comes to the issue of border security; and he is an expert on it too. Now that he has left the race, where are those of us to turn that support actually securing our borders?

Unfortunately, the media seems to be dead set against the candidates that want to actually secure the border and protect our sovereignty. The media is obsessed with the current front-runners, which is evidence to me they should not be trusted:

Mitt Romney: See this article showing how he has flip-flopped on immigration: http://www.unionleader.com/article.aspx ... 684d0a0f7e

Mike Huckabee: See this for just about all the info you need: http://dhgrassrevolt.wordpress.com/2007 ... migration/

Fred Thompson: Has hinted that he supports path to citizenship programs (see this comparison sheet between him and Duncan Hunter, where Fred shows his true colors on amnesty, http://dhgrassrevolt.wordpress.com/2007 ... on-sheets/

Thompson also has supported NAFTA and its expansion. (Numbers USA has beefed up Thompson’s record a bit, making it look better than it did a few months ago. Here is an article delving into Thompson’s past, http://dhgrassrevolt.wordpress.com/2007 ... r-abraham/

    John McCain: McCain-Kennedy (enough said)

Rudy Giuliani: Has connections to NAFTA through is law firm, supported sanctuary city policies in New York. Has some of the WORST ratings from NumbersUSA of anyone running.

    —-

This is all not to mention the other shortfallings these candidates have when it comes to other important conservative issues, that candidates such as Tancredo and Duncan Hunter are much better on.

    —-

I support Congressman Duncan Hunter, and hope you will join me.

Duncan Hunter understands the border crisis: He built a border fence in San Diego that cut human and drug trafficking by 90%, and wrote a bill trying to get it built across the rest of the border.

Duncan Hunter has foresight, a part of his strong leadership skills: Duncan worked as Ronald Reagan’s ‘go-for’ in Congress for many years, but was not afraid to disagree with Reagan when it came to the borders. At one point, Reagan attempted to push a form of amnesty and Duncan predicted that it would cause a rush for the borders. 10 years and 12 million people later, we know he was right (by the way, Reagan admitted himself later that it was a bad idea).

Duncan Hunter has a PERFECT rating from Americans for Better Immigration/Numbers USA

Duncan Hunter still has a chance. It has been said that this race likely will not be cut and dry until well until February. Duncan is smartly campaigning in states other candidates are ignoring, which may prove very important, and could cause a surprise in the next several weeks.

Duncan Hunter was against Most Favored Nation trade status with China before it was cool to be so.

Duncan Hunter was, and still is, against NAFTA and CAFTA (he voted against them)

Duncan Hunter is the sponsor of the life at conception bill, an attempt at federally ending abortion (which he authors and brings forward every year).

Duncan Hunter promises to have the border fence done in 6 months after being elected (if he can find a way to get back the funding the Democratic budget has taken away from his fence)

Duncan Hunter promises to pardon Ramos and Compean, and has led the fight for a Congressional pardon.

Here are some videos about Dunacn Hunter, mostly about border security, but also on other issues:

With the new turn of event regarding Tancredo, I want to give his supporters a good look at the candidate who is lock-step with Tancredo on most issues. Of course there is much more, however, this is a good place to start from.

The thing about Romney is that he did say its impossible to
deport all the illegals, That is a true fact

They you get rid of them is through attrician

You take away the bennys and the jobs and they have to leave

Romney did take away or not allow bennys in Mass.

Thats a better record than the other "front runners"
