    Amnesty rewards lawlessness
Our immigration policy should first and foremost ensure the security of our great Nation and those individuals posing a terrorist threat should be prevented from entering our country. I strongly oppose amnesty for illegal aliens; our immigration laws should not reward lawlessness.

I'm tired of hearing how you can't secure the borders without a guest worker program or 'comprehensive immigration reform.' That's like saying you can't secure your home without giving the burglar the security code and a key. If congress and the president can't figure out how to secure the borders maybe they should step aside and let the Minutemen and the American people do it for them.

What they really mean, is that they WON"T secure the border, UNLESS they get their guest (cheap) worker program. It's doubtful they will secure the borders and enforce the law, even if they get it.

My most esteemed senator (liar, traitor, scumbag).
To say the least, dlm !! Florida is ranked like 49th on the best public school system in the country, I guess we should expect to be last on the list for outstanding senators as well.

Let's face it, bad begets bad.

And look at the "choices" we have for governor now. Yikes !!
The country better steer clear of this state.

Gee, I thought Texas was 49th - it may be 50th now - but we have a horrible education system.

We all know they say whatever they have to in order to get elected.

That is why I am so cynical about all this Republican stand on the immigration issue.

Are they posturing to keep their seats?

Is this just a carefullyl choreographed dance to lull us into a false sense of security?

Right now, they are all we have - but we need to be vigilant.
