I remember I lost my SS card while living in Cheyenne for a year.I went to the local office and even though I was a government employee the woman refused my application for a duplicate saying she'd never seen a Ca. ID card before.Incidentally,the blonde behind me had no ID but her checks and checkbook were accepted by the same woman as valid ID.Go figure.
