I thought the Mexican government officials were much stronger in their statements and in voicing their displeasure with our government in dealing with their citizens who are here illegally. They focused on Central Americans crossing through Mexico. They reject the idea of foreign citizens waiting in Mexico while cases are decided.

General Kelly made assurances to Mexico and to those listening that there would be no mass deportations. Up to thirty million illegal aliens here and is it a trickle here and there. He too, focused on Central Americans not Mexicans. The southern border of Mexico was addressed for security but not the northern border.


I hope what I heard as weak statements by the United States in their public statements were not the ones in private. The Mexican counterpart to Secretary Tillerson seemed to say this would drag out in negotiations. Of course they don't want their people back.

Americans always visit other countries with their hats in the hands and their wallets out.

This is just a preliminary meeting to make the list.

Trump will have to negotiate this mess. No doubt about it.

Personally, I don't think this one can be resolved with negotiations. We just have to take our stands, everyone do their jobs for the best interests of the American People, and move it forward.

The United States is out of money and we're out of jobs. No more handing out either one to any more countries or their citizens.

Nope, Mexico doesn't want the illegals back, but what it does want is for the money from those illegals to keep rolling in!
