Lone Protester- The Future of South Carolina
    07/06/09

I recently took my wife to get her passport renewed at the Philippine Embassy in Washington, DC. Even though we could not afford it the trip was well worth the cost because of the history we saw. At the memorial to the US Marines of Iwo Jima is an inscription, it reads “Uncommon valor was a common virtueâ€

You are not alone! Start with prayer and go from there......

Lone Protestor, your post was really well-written and it is obvious heart- felt. Please understand that you are not alone; first of all, you have us, the Alipacers. And secondly, the majority of Americans are against what is going on in our country. They are at this point, the silent majority but the majority none-the-less. Third, we all have power to fight back and win. Fourth, keep in mind that every dictatorship throughout history has fallen, and this dictatorship will also fall eventually. And too, this arrogant administration is going to tumble as well, in the bible it is stated that pride goeth before the fall. And we have seen arrogant and prideful people and countries crumble from the beginning of time.

It is so painful that our country is in the hands of a sadistic and corrupt administration that has no love for us or our country. However, we must encourage one another and go forward and as previously stated, we must fight back. And we can all do something; in fact, we must do whatever we can legally do to fight back. We legal citizens of America must dig in our heels and never give in.

For starters, the fact that you are on this web site, is great, you are letting your voice be known. Talk to people about your position, don't let the libs hold you back; we still have freedom of speech to some extent. And even if the government takes this away from us, we are creative people and will find ways to let our voices be known. Vote for Republicans if they are against Amnesty, because the Dem's have become too strong, and way to arrogant. Get involved, go to tea parties, write to newspapers, run for office, and help Alipac, Numbers, Fair, Judicial Watch and other groups that are fighting against Amnesty. Support Conservative television and radio with your time and financially. Yes, send money and give of your time to groups and/or media that are on our side. Just continue the fight. We, legal Americans must also work out a plan, so that if the gov't enacts Amnesty we continue to fight it and reverse it. Think about all the French Underground did to win the war against Hitler.

Hang in there, Lone Protestor! You are definitely not alone! There is plenty of fight left in the American people!

    LP,
What's the real-world status of the illegal immigration bill that Sanford signed into law in June '08? Is it being ignored (or gutted) like many of our other illegal immigration laws?

In the year since it became law I have not read or heard of anyone or business that has been prosecuted. It was feel good legislation Governor Sanford signed to help him run for president in 2012. There is no teeth in it because nobody has any backbone to enforce it.

This is a reply I got from Dean Allen, director of ROAR-USA, (Restore Our American Republic) He is from South Carolina and is running for state Adjutant General-------------------------------------------------

    South Carolina State Guard
The mission of the SCSG is to act as a
force multiplier for local law enforcement,
other first responders, and to secure the 68
armories in South Carolina when the National
    Guard is unavailable.
Today the SCSG under strength, unequipped,
    untrained, unarmed, and generally
    unprepared for that mission.
    Illegal Alien Invasion
As a result of the illegal alien invasion,
South Carolina now has the 3rd highest
unemployment in the entire United States.
Local law enforcement officers are eligible
for training under § 287 (g) of federal
immigration law that will enable them to
work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement
    (ICE). Once they graduate from
the five week school, they have full federal
authority to carry firearms, detain suspects,
    make arrests, and deport illegal
    aliens.
    Currently most Sheriff’s Departments in
South Carolina do not participate in this
    program.
While the federal government pays for all of the
cost of the training; local officials complain that
they cannot spare Sheriff’s Deputies while they
are attending the five week school. Federal law
also requires participating departments to dedicate
fifty beds in a detention facility exclusively
to inmates suspected of violations of immigration
law. Many of the 46 counties in South
Carolina do not have enough beds in the local
    jail to qualify.
As the Adjutant General of South Carolina, I
will provide all 46 Sheriff’s Departments in this
state with trained and qualified members of the
South Carolina State Guard who are able to replace
local Sheriff’s Deputies while they attend
the five week ICE school under the § 287 (g)
    program.
I will also make fifty beds available in a properly
guarded National Guard Armory in any
county in South Carolina that does not have
enough space in the local jail to participate in
    the program.
    South Carolina National Guard
The SCNG should be available to the Governor
of South Carolina to be used protecting the
lives, safety, and property of the people of this
state in times of industrial accidents, civil unrest,
    terrorism, or natural disaster.
Today, if there were a hurricane the size of
Hugo, there are almost a half million more
people living in the low country who would
need quick evacuation. The contingency for
this is known as Operation Beachmaster.
With much of our National Guard deployed
in foreign wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and
with our State Guard under strength and unarmed,
we would be forced to rely upon borrowed
troops from surrounding states just to
protect the life and property of the people of
    South Carolina.
As your Adjutant General, I will call upon
Congress and the President to give the Regular
Army the strength needed to accomplish
its assigned missions without permanent reliance
on federalizing the National Guards of
the several states. I will ask them to
    allow the South Carolina National
    Guard to come home
    where they belong, we have
    done our part.
I will also address recruitment, retention, and
training to see that the SC State Guard is
properly armed and equipped to assist the
National Guard in times of natural disaster.

The very people who helped draft Georgia's latest voter verification bill are the ones that disaproved it. This makes me believe that whenever these bills/laws go into consideration/effect..someone is there to sqush them. The bill is dead or the law is not enforced. This is coming from higher up.

LP, that was a great post! This should be in the opinion section of your local paper. It is frustrating for everyone that politicians don't really care. In my estimation, there are only a few that represent the people.
We see so many tribes overrun and undermined

While their invaders dream of lands they've left behind

    Better people...better food...and better beer...
