    Look At The Bright Side

I'm sure everybody is on edge wondering if or when an amnesty bill is going to be shoved in our faces. But let's think about this. This can a good thing. For one thing, the number of states wanting to do the same as Arizona is growing by the day. Each one is thinking that if they don't get on the band wagon, they'll be left with all the illegals in their state. The rumbling from the states has our federal government nervous. States are starting to make the federal goverenment look bad, and they'll look worse and worse as each state speaks out and more Americans complain about our unsecured borders.

Now, another thing. This is a top story all over the media. Every station is talking about it. People are being asked on news shows to express their views. And they're talking about the crimes illegals commit, and how our schools are overcrowded and the cost to taxpayers. Even John MCain said they deliberately run innocent Americans off the road. The main thing is that it's out there and it's loud and it's informing more and more people to the real damage that illegal immigration is doing to this country.

Another thing is that it's an election year, and some are saying that it will be one of the top issues this year. Finally people are going vote on illegal immigration at the ballot and it will tell everyone in government they can't ignore enforcing our laws anymore.

Good summary of the positives, tinybobidaho. We do need to stay positive and hopeful.

The Cons would be topped by the large number of lame ducks leaving office that could vote against their constituency's wishes.
