ALIENS: Craig votes for amnesty for illegals

"Mr. Amnesty," Senator Larry Craig, chalked up another vote for illegal aliens and against Idaho citizens.
May 21, Craig voted in the Senate to bring a ruinous piece of amnesty legislation to the floor for debate.

Written in secrecy by Ted Kennedy and a few senators, an attempt is being made to ram this bill through Congress and down the throats of American citizens with little floor debate. It will automatically grant legality to the 12- to 20-million, illegal aliens already in the country and allow them to import family members. We will have 50 million new low-skilled workers in this country accessing our social security, Medicare and Medicaid entitlements. An estimate of the cost to American taxpayers is $2.5 trillion, according to Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation. The cost to the lawbreakers for legality and the precious gift of U.S. citizenship is $5,000.

The president and Congress have us believe there is no solution to deal with the illegal alien population other than amnesty or mass deportation. Senators like Craig are being disingenuous in refusing to acknowledge that enforcing current law with employer sanctions and a denial of taxpayer benefits would lead to self-deportation.

Craig has been in the U.S. Senate since 1981. He was there when the last amnesty failure was legislated in 1986. He should know better than to try to fool the people of Idaho with an amnesty crafted to result in disastrous consequences for the country. By the president's own admission, one in every 12 illegals has a criminal record. Larry Craig is apparently more beholden to foreign nationals and business interests than he is to benefiting and protecting the citizens of Idaho.

Craig is up for re-election in 2008 and it's time we let him know we no longer trust him to represent Idaho.

There are a whole bunch of senators that need to go. Several of them were in the Senate when they promised to secure our borders and never have another amnesty. These men need to go!!!!!! Send them a vote of no-confidence.

We, the USA, do not have a 'vote of no confidence'.
We're a Representative Republic.

That is typical of the socialist nations that, if we are not careful now, we'll be following soon.

Our vote is the BALLOT BOX..........and we've not used it wisely for many years.

I saw that in the paper this morning. Don't worry, I intend to keep pounding him. I called his office here in Idaho and told his aide, that if he votes for this bill, I'll make it my mission next year to see he doesn't get re-elected. For a response. I heard a gasp on the other end.
