Lou Dobbs Tonight
Friday, March 16, 2007

Tonight, the White House changes its story on the abrupt
dismissal of 8 U.S. attorneys. We’ll have complete coverage.

The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at
Columbia University put out a new study claiming almost half of
America’s college students are binge drinking and using drugs.
We’ll take a deeper look into binge drinking at America’s
colleges and what’s being done to stop it.

And Hazleton, Pennsylvania’s landmark immigration battle with
the American Civil Liberties Union continues. We’ll have a full
update on whether local laws cracking down on illegal aliens
will be upheld.

It’s been a deadly year so far for U.S. soldiers and Marines
flying helicopters over the war zone in Iraq. Insurgents aiming
for high profile targets have been focusing their energies on
helicopters. But the U.S. is adapting too. Join us tonight;
we’ll be taking a first hand look at what’s being done at one
of the Army’s premier helicopter pilot training schools.

Staff Sargeant Chris Bain wishes to return to Iraq, but the
severe injuries he sustained in Al Taji will prevent him from
ever returning. When Bain left for Iraq in 2004, he had already
served in military active duty in Somalia, Korea and Egypt. But
just four months in, Iraqi insurgents ambushed his unit at the
al Taji base camp. While that event did win him a purple heart,
he suffers the loss of his short term memory and the ability to
do what he loves most – serving his country. We’ll have a
special report tonight.

And, we'll be joined by three of the country's best political
analysts: Former White House Political Director Ed Rollins,
Democratic National Committeeman Robert Zimmerman and Michael
Goodwin, a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for the New York
Daily News.
