Lou Dobbs Tonight
Thursday, March 29, 2007

Join Lou tonight at 6 p.m. E.T, and again at 8 p.m. E.T. for
another primetime special edition of Lou Dobbs Tonight.

Tonight, Former chief of staff to Attorney General Alberto
Gonzales, Kyle Sampson, testifies that Mr. Gonzales was
involved in the firings of 8 U.S. attorneys.

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and
prosecutes government corruption, has filed an open records
lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, the
Department of Justice, and the State Department. The lawsuit is
seeking records regarding the immunity and medical treatment
given to Mexican drug smuggler Osbaldo Aldrete-Davlia, the
Mexican illegal alien who was shot and wounded by former Border
Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. We値l have a
special report.

The income gap in America is widening. New data shows that it
has doubled since 1980. While Americans in the top income
bracket received their largest income share increase since the
depression, middle class Americans saw their incomes decline.
Middle class wages are continuing to suffer. For example, today
Circuit City is firing their higher paid workers and replacing
them with lower paid new hires as soon as possible. We値l have
a full report on why the richest of the rich are making more
and more money while middle class Americans struggle with
declining incomes.

U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) announced legislation
today that will strengthen regulations on Mexican trucks
traveling beyond their commercial zones in the U.S. The NAFTA
Trucking Safety Act comes in response to an agreement under
NAFTA and the Bush administrations push to grant 100 Mexican
trucking companies greater access to U.S. roads. Hunter and
other lawmakers are concerned that the trucks will not meet
U.S. safety standards and could pose a security risk to
America. We値l have full coverage.

Organized religion is pushing and using politics for their own
divine agendas. The Congressional Prayer Caucus: AIPAC is
wooing American politicians. Catholic Bishops are meddling in
U.S. immigration policy. And, evangelicals are deciding just
whom in Christian enough to be president. We値l examine the
constitutionality of these trends in a special report tonight.

Congressman Duncan Hunter (D-CA), Senator Carl Levin (D-MI),
and General David Grange will join Lou tonight. And for our
late edition, Representatives Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Brad Sherman
(R-CA), Brian Bilbray (R-CA), and Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) will
join us.
