Join Lou for an hour of news, debate and opinion. Rising
violence in Iraq claimed the lives of 9 U.S. troops. President
Bush says the U.S. and Iraqi forces are making progress,
telling Congress that it is important for Congress to stand by
the new commander in Iraq, General Petraeus.

The U.S. Surgeon General today called attention to the high
levels of underage drinking among America's youth. The Surgeon
General addressed the latest statistics on underage drinking in
America, recommending ways parents, schools and communities can
stop the crisis. We’ll have a special report.

Senator Ted Kennedy kicked off a week of events and meetings
focusing on immigration before he introduces legislation
promoting amnesty for millions of illegal aliens living in the
United States. Today, Kennedy met with Cardinal Roger Mahony,
an outspoken and controversial supporter of illegal aliens and
Kennedy’s bill. Senators McCain, Kennedy and Representatives
Flake and Gutierrez are expected to unveil their legislation
later this month. We’ll have a full report.

The American Civil Liberties Union is filing a lawsuit on
behalf of several children who claim they are being held in
inhumane conditions at the T. Don Hutto facility in Taylor,
Texas. The children are being detained at the facility along
with their illegal alien parents. The Hutto facility is
currently holding 400 illegal aliens of which about half are
children. Bill Tucker reports.

His nick name should be Peter Pan because this fool strays in never never land. I would expect that JFK has turned over many times in his grave for what his brother has done to our country.
I try to live a life where I judge not my fellow man harshly, but Lord forgive me I truly dislike this human being who is in the same pew with Hanoi Jane Fonda on turning their backs on the American people.
