Thread: Call Best Buy and Complain!

Best Buy wishes Muslims "Happy Eid al-Adha" instead of wishing Americans "Happy Thanksgiving"! Who do they think is shopping over Thanksgiving Holiday? Here is the ad: http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/dpp/news ... riday-2009

Here is the Best Buy phone # if you want to complain. I just did and the guy totally agreed with me and said they are getting lots of calls! I told him that if it wasn't for Christians buying Christmas presents over the Thanksgiving holiday then they would be out of business and he agreed. That "Happy Thanksgiving" would be more appropriate. He said he would file a complaint on my behalf - we need to light up the phones! 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)

Thanks for sharing your point of view regarding our recent ad, which included a wish for a “Happy Eid al-Adhaâ€

I got a foreign speaking person and they transferred me to the wrong place for comment. Calling back now. And of course you must press #1 for English.

I did leave my comments that Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas are the greetings that Americans desire to hear. As I understand, the customers that they are greeting are one half of one percent of the population. Politically correct maybe, American incorrect totally.

The answer to this problem is do not shop at Best Buy. If I need electronics I go to Sears,they will match any other stores prices and their return policies are much more liberal.

I say lets put Best Buy out of business in the USA.It is OUR Custom to celebrate Christmas and Immigrants should assmilate to OUR customs.IF they want to celebrate the customs of the countries they come from then do so but DO NOT complain about how we do things here in America !! After all the reason you came here is your countries SUCK and you liked OUR way of life.

If you don't like our traditions then go back to where you came from and take your foreign traditions with you !!!!!!!

Completely agree USPatriot! I'm sick and tired of this politically correct BS! This is a CHRISTIAN country, like it or not. Adapt to it, shut the hell up or leave! Raghead or not, let me make it clear...we will NOT pander to your religious sensitivities. I don't expect Muslim countries to suddenly begin celebrating Christmas just because I am there... so don't expect this from Americans.

I just called and got through to Consuerm Relations and filed a complaint. I don't know how seriously the company takes these complaints but I did tell them I would be shopping ANYWHERE but Best Buy this Christmas.

What's disgusting about this entire debacle is that corporate America has replaced Merry Christmas with "Happy Holidays" apparently so as not to offend those people who are not Christians.

Yes I have a real clear picture of what would happen if I went to a muslim country or any other country an insisted they change their traditions to accomadate my USA traditions.

I would never see the light of day again and would rot in their prison.

Multiculturism with NO assimilation is breaking up our country into squabbling factions with NO common bond and will be the downfall of a once great Nation.

Yes Americans do have different political views but we share a common language and traditions which cements us together,albiet disfucntional at times,yet when the chips are down we have always pulled together,One Nation Under God.

The best way to repay Best Buy for their good will... is to shop some place OTHER THAN BEST BUY! We can call and complain, but when they really feel it is when you stop giving them YOUR money!

This is one of my gripes with one of my liberal friends.

Where is OUR culture? Where is OUR way of life? Seems Americans have to move over or completely lose their culture for the SAKE of EVERYONE else's culture. Do what you want IN THE MUSLIM countries, but HERE in America... we celebrate American holidays. People are suppose to adapt when they come to this country, that is WHY immigration should be kept lower than the majority of citizens. When immigration has open borders and NO immigration laws... no one adapts to this country but demand that they have their own cultures and way of life in this country. (like one of the weirdos on obamas team that thinks we should honor some of the Sheria laws).
WhoEVER is the majority will be the culture and way of life of that country.

I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!!!
