DREAM act must be on agenda before Nov. 18
If we can put enough pressure on Senators, we can stop the DREAM act for a long time. In order for a bill to be debated after Thanksgiving, it must be on the agenda. The deadline is Thur. Nov. 18. If we keep up the pressure we can prevent the DREAM act from being on the Senate agenda. If we fail, we will have to call/fax senators in order to stop it with a filibuster.

I just hope they listen to us. They passed the healthcare bill even though most people did not want it.

Can you come up with a sample communication that we can start sending? Also, I wonder who SETS the agenda? And who would we contact to try to prevent it. Possbly the (present) minority leaders? With Pelosi and Reid still on the majority side we have to go to someone who can block it.
