Married to a U.S. citizen but want to get divorced
Hi I'm married to a U.S. citizen for about 4 years but I want to get a divorce, will I get deprted??. I've been living in the US for about 15 years and I'm currentlly going to college, but I'm afraid that I can get deported.
There is no violence or anything like that, but we just don'tget along anymore. We got married in good faith...Can some one give me an advice
Thanks
Sandy

Why didn't you get your permanent resident in 4 years that you have been married?
Honestly I think you're one of those "anchor babies" who became an adult, and you're in this forums for another reason.

Well, it looks like you stayed "married" long enough to make it pass as LEGAL. I hope you are deported.

Well, how about applying for a student visa from your college?
You might have to go back to your country of origin for awhile and leave after you graduate, but you'd still be able to finish your education.

No violence or anything like that? No infidelity either??? You just don't get along anymore? As in WE JUST GREW APART? Or, we're not WELL-MATCHED anymore! Well, grow back together and get along and try to save your marriage, especially if you have children. You did ask for advice.
