Thanks but my poetic career ended when I was in 2nd grade. A poem about Abraham Lincoln. In college.....I was called a Hallmark peot.
I just wrote to what was given......

Sad but my minds been going since on mindless ditties. That tune that just doesn't go away...

Golly................that is an awful hard one to answer.........
what would the white people do without them? HUMMMMMMMMM
1) Live our lives the American way, the way we used to?
2) We'd have jobs to go to everyday..........
3) We'd get to listen to English being spoken everywhere
4) We'd stand with pride everytime we saw our Flag waving high and proud and not offending someone.
5) We'd see less drugs on the streets
6) We'd be able to walk places knowing we were not going to get mugged
7) We would be able to get in and out of doctors offices and emergencies room quicker, giving us more time to devote to our families.
We would go into stores that are neatly stocked.
9) We would be able to call somewhere and NOT have to press 1 first to talk
10) We would have picnics in the park without having to listen to that whatever kind of music they call it.
11) We could go places easier because we wouldn't have to stop for so many license checks
12) We could drive on the roads more safely knowing that just about everyone driving would have a legal license and insurance.
13) We would be able to have prayer, and pledge of allegiance spoken in schools and not offend anyone.
14) We would notice that darned Red, White and Green Mexican flag was gone from our country.
15) We would be secure in knowing that nobody had stolen our identities.
16) We could enjoy our holidays without offending anyone.

That's just starters........... yeah, it's hard to figure out what we'd do without them here

I knew someone here could do it. And what about these:

1. No Spanish channels on cable
2. No dirty looks in neighborhoods
3. And, of course, no more being called racists.

I'm sure others can think of even more.

Our kids could go to school and get an education.

Our kids could live in neighborhoods, in their own country where they are not the "enemy".

I could go an, but it might start sounding "offensive", so I will stop, and leave it at this:

What I find sad about those carvings, is that La Raza and groups like them have turned this into a Whites vs Latino's issue, instead of what it is really about...LEGAL vs ILLEGALLY.

I have no problems with people of ANY COLOR, from ANY COUNTRY if they are in America LEGALLY.
