McCain Challenges Other Candidates On Immigration

McCain challenges other candidates on immigration

    Senator John McCain

Republican presidential candidate John McCain is challenging critics of a proposed immigration overhaul plan to provide a better alternative.

The Arizona senator criticized his leading rivals, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, when a reporter asked him about their opposition to a Senate compromise brokered earlier this month.

McCain says anyone who doesn't like the plan should offer their own idea.

The plan before Congress includes tougher security, guest workers and a path to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants.

McCain says the U.S. can't afford to continue to allow an estimated 12 million people to live in the country illegally.

Well mr. McCain if a better plan is all it takes you should read the American Legion immigration plan. Problem solved. Now wasn't that easy?
And all this time you thought this was complicated.

I laugh when politicians make challenges like this..."Well, if you don't like our plan, come up with one that is better!" Then when you do..."Oh NO! That would never work!" (end of discussion)!

It is $$$ - EGO - ARROGANCE for our politicians contempt towards the American people's wishes!!! [/b]

Or here's an easier one Enforce the existing laws!
Immigration reform should reflect a commitment to enforcement, not reward those who blatantly break the rules. - Rep Dan Boren D-Ok
