McCain on Jay Leno Show - Stop the Giveaway!

Senator John McCain appeared on the Jay Leno Show last evening, during which time he made the definitive statement:

"We have to stop giving away several billion dollars a year to countries that hate us."

That is very true, but what Mr. McCain needs to realize is the fact that one of those countries that hates us is none other than Mexico.

We are reminded of that constantly by LaRaza, by the Socialist and Marxist organizations that march along with Illegal Aliens in May Day Marches in this nation; we are reminded of it by the vitriolic diatribes of Mexican leaders.

Consider this: President Reagan's amnesty program was hopeful that it would encourage immigrants to become U.S. Citizens, but that did not happen. All it did was open the flood-gates to people who want to use and abuse U.S. Citizens. It only created widespread abuse of Americans by illegal aliens and by the country of Mexico itself. Assimilation did not happen, and neither do the Illegals nor does the country of Mexico want it to happen. They just want us to keep supporting them. It's like saying "Give me a dollar (more like $34Billion) and I'll be your friend." That’s what I would call being merely a fair weather friend, don’t you think?

What did we get for our offer of Amnesty years ago? Now we have Illegal Aliens holding May Day Marches in this country, supported by Socialist and Communist organizations all claiming that they want to take the United States under Socialist and Communist rule. And Mexico would call itself our friend? With a friend like that, who needs enemies? Mexico isn’t a country that hates us?

If Mexico didn't hate us, would its citizens be bleeding the resources of our country? Would they be saying that they will take back the Southwest and eventually, the entire nation? Would they propose to take away our national sovereignty by trying to impose their rule in a North American Union? Mexico's agenda is clearly not for the good of the United States. If Mexico were actually thinking of the good of the United States, then that country would encourage its citizens to abide by our laws... especially our immigration laws.

John McCain’s campaign platform is “Country First.â€
Remember that*all Politicians work for us, the U.S. Taxpaying Citizens.* If they are not doing their jobs to your liking, FIRE THEM in the next elections.

    My message to McCain.
I will vote for Sen. McCain but let me be clear. When he wins his 1st order of business should be to close the borders with Mexico, NO AMNESTY and deportation of ALL ILLEGALS. Illegals cost American Taxpayers 328 Billion Dollars per year not to mention gangs, drugs, and crime. He may contact me to speak about this if he would like.

"President Reagan's amnesty program was hopeful that it would encourage immigrants to become U.S. Citizens, but that did not happen"

How did that not happen? Wasn't that the whole point of his program? Many illegals did become citizens allowing them to come out of the shadows and finally begin paying taxes like the rest of us and thus help pay for the many costs they and us incur on roads, schools, hospitals, etc.

Nonetheless he should have first strengthened the border before anything else, and THEN announce the program to the public to take care of the illegals already in the country. To his credit McCain seems to have gotten it right and sees that securing the border FIRST is the better solution.

Many did not become US citizens, just legal residents. This program did fail as many MORE illegal aliens flooded in waiting for the next amnesty. After all, the previous illegal aliens were forgiven and rewarded with legal status, no? This MUST not be allowed to happen ever again.

Despite what you may have been led to believe, very few if any illegals are living in the "shadows!" There will be no more amnesty of any kind if the American public has anything to say about it. Securing the border first and enforcing existing law is the ONLY solution!

You do not reward those who enterd this country in violation of federal immigration law with amnesty! That amnesty of 86 (without securing our borders) is in large part responsible for the 20-30 million illegal invaders now here.

They flooded this country in order to cash in on the next amnesty lottery! They are now becoming increasingly more impatient and demanding in their cries for amnesty, since the American public has voiced their extreme displeasure regarding another amnesty of any kind.

The border needs to be secured and we need to continue with the enforcement of existing law. Many will leave on their own accord if they cannot make a living in this country. Either that, or they will be deported.

    It's their choice...

I guess Biden should tell his presidential nominee that this is how it should be. It seems that they will disagree on this issue ad Obama wants to give out more free money.

Another problem with the 86 amnesty was the false promise of employer sanctions. It was actually the first time that hiring an illegal invader became illegal. However, this WAS NOT enforced, and never really has been. THAT is what encouraged 20 million more to come. Corporate America already had their amnesty. No mas. No more feeding their cheap labor addiction. The buck stops here. Just like the gov't said it would in 1986.

Corporate America should have to PAY for their illegal workers' ROOM and BOARD!
