I know she is not a popular person here but the least threatening of the 3 still running. imo

I am still hoping for a miracle .
I agree with you. As bad as Obama and Clinton are, McCain is probably the worst, all things considered. Open borders, neoconservative, free trader. He is God awful on all the fundamental issues IMO.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!

I pledge to not vote for McCain, or his fellow Globalist presidential "opposition", Clinton or Obama.

Its definitely worth a try to get McCain to take the pledge.

We dont have much to work with at this point. All the candidates equally suck on immigration issues.

    I say go for it.

I agree. If he signs I'll consider voting for him. He SAYS nothing will be done on comprehensive immigration reform UNTIL the border is verifiably secure. So let's hold him to it.

But which site is the legitimate one? Or are both?

People.. Immigration is a huge issuse, but we need to look at the big picture. IA's are just a symptom of true problem. Politicians DO NOT represent the people!(Vast Majority) They just pander to get re-elected. Who ever contributes the most to them will get things pushed that they want.

If a Democrat is elected at least the Republicans will fight them on the issues. If McCain get elected the mostly will fall in and tow the party line. Much the same as Romney did with his Speech. To be honest we are really in a one(1) party system with two(2) factions. The end result is almost exactly the same. Ear Marks, Pork Spending, Unlimited Foreign Aid while Katrina victims are homeless, Bailouts for big banks while the costs are stuck to the ones that are getting foreclosed on, crushing national debt.

It has to stop! Tough Choices MUST be made! Yet none will! NONE.

Dark Days ARE ahead. I am sure no one here supports those 3. We need to make a real effort to get behind a 3rd party. I think US people would welcome such if they were aware of the facts. But, sadly most are have their head in the sand.

I will get off my soap box now.

I disagree and think Bush's failure to pass an amnesty proves your theory wrong. McCain will not win those over that have been standing against amnesty. Personally, I'm more worried about what we're going to end up with in the U.S. Congress next year. It's going to be a very frightening ride if the Democrats increase their head count by a wide margin.

I would never vote for Mc Cain, the mans policys scares me to death, I honestly do not believe he is all together and I would not trust him to keep his word.

the part about the getting the GAO to cetifiy is a Joke, it is a government office who can be persuaded into doing what ever they want.

I am going to keep waiting for an independant if one does not come forward I will write in a name even if it is Mickey Mouse but I won't vote for any of the 3 in there now.

A pledge? What manner of enforcement would we be privy to once he declined to follow it? A pledge presented by someone of 0 public knowledge is at best a risky affair, but to entertain the signature of one who has proven his hatred and written in stone his rage against those who disagree with him would be ridiculous.

Consider this: The same pen he would sign such a pledge with is the same pen that inked the KennedyMcCain Amnesty doctrine.

Now if there was a provision that would see him hanged for violating the pledge I would sign onto it. This is simply because I would be conviced that he would dangle like Saddam from the rafters. This man has no soul.
