I'm hating it.

I was browsing the Net today, and stubbled upon this information.
It appears our American Icon has a scholarship program for those who want to go to college. To qualify, the applicant must have at least one Hispanic parent. Guess who these scholarships are going to?
I severed my relationship with McDonald's 17 years ago. In California, every worker was an illegal alien. That was a valid reason for my deciding to never eat at any McDonald's again. If American workers were not good enough, then I would never support this seditious corporation.
I searched the English Website, and could not find a scholarship program.
And to this day, I have not eaten at a fast food restuarant, and I don't think I ever will again. I do not support illegitimate illegal alien workers.

That is so wrong of McDonald's to do that, giving scholarships based on the ethnicity of your parents. Got anything for some part/Irish/English/French? My niece and nephew could use a scholarship. My niece is going to Community College instead of University because she couldn't afford to go "away to college". Maybe she'll transfer in another year.

Well McDonald's. I've loved you all these years, but this I can not tolerate. I'll eat little weenies out of a can before I spend another dime at your restaurants. This stupidity has that obnoxious National Council of La Raza all over it. So if you think National Council of La Raza is going to pay your bills for you instead of your customers, fine, but you can kiss my Moon-Shine, good-bye.

Yeah, and how about the Ukrainian, Prussian, German heritage? Do they support them with the same? It's discrimination I tell you, and they should be brought up on charges by the ACLU.

It'll never happen, but it was fun typing it.

Hold on now. McDonald's offers FOUR scholarships, one for everyone regardless of race,creed, etc., etc. This is the Scholars program.

Then they have one for Asians, one for African-Americans and one for Hispanics, which are based on a specific race, creed and/or color.

The only problem I have with the above is whites are excluded from 3 of these while the others are only excluded from 2.

Last years winners were all hispanic.

Especially the horrible mess they are serving today. I too have given up fast food for a couple of years now. Those so called "hamburgers" taste like a combination of rubber and some other synthetic crap. What in the hell is that? Has anyone but me noticed that McDonalds no longer advertises the Big Mac as 2 ALL BEEF patties?

I don't know what they are putting in our food but nothing tastes like it used to and everything appears to be chemically enhanced with some foreign substance.

I would apply anyway even if I was uncertain of my Hispanic heritage. If family folklore is that my great-great-great-grandfather was born in Seville that's good enough. The application just requires that you submit facts "to the best of your knowledge".
