Are the media to blame for recent violence and hatred?
There is a lot of hatred which seems to have been stirred up as a result of the Trump campaign. There is hatred and violence against ethnic minorities, immigrants, and Muslims. There is hatred and violence against Trump supporters.
It seems to me that this hatred is being expressed because of the belief that Donald Trump is against ethnic minorities, immigrants, and Muslims. This is what most of the media and social networks have been saying about Trump. There is little support of it in the facts but all too many people believe it. This hatred is truly bigotry because it is based on false assumptions.
So what can be done about it? Now that Donald Trump has all but achieved the Presidency can he gather enough media attention to deny these false reports and have his denial widely covered and believed?
