I will try tonight to leave a message - they are probably gone for the day.

I spoke to one of his staffers yesterday and asked for Senator Burr's position. She said he was "not taking a position of the bill because he was waiting to see what amendments were added." What a crock! I said that was troublesome to me because this bill is so flawed and pro illegal alien that no amount of amendments can make it right. It needs to be voted down and he needs to take a stance against it. Furthermore, if he didn't vote NO, I would work against his next election campaign. He's either sitting on the fence to try to figure which way to fall or he's in favor of it and is to much of a 'wuss to state it and take the heat. I think it's the latter.

Who's going to visit Burr's office this week?

I called several of Burr's offices today.

I asked them how Burr could be against amnesty & vote against
Senator Vitter's amendment to remove the Zorro Visas from S.1348.

Also, remind the staff that Sen Dole voted YES to Vitter's amendment.

I'm afraid Burr may have made a deal with Bush.

I called Burr this morning and and sent a NumbersUSA fax tonight.

Sellout Burr(R-NC) and Lindsey (I just love La Raza.) Graham(R-SC) are
a big supporter of McCain.

Anyone make plans to go to Burr's &/or Dole's offices?

I know of 3 others who are going tomorrow or Friday.

called again today. they are taking a lot of calls. anyone find out what his schedule is? I called the Winston office and was told Mr. Tilley has his schedule, but was on the phone. I left a message on his phonemail. Asked when his next public event is, but havent heard back yet.
