05-13-2006, 05:01 PM #11Hey, how about McCain/Martinez in 2008.
Before Martinez was elected he was in one of the on line groups I belonged to, as soon as he was questioned on some of his issues he left.
I only was told this by the moderator when I questioned her why he wasn't no longer there. This was awhile ago, wish I could remember the name of the group.
Remember George P....the post I had up a few weeks ago?

George P. Bush is the son of Florida Governor Jeb Bush and his Mexican-born wife Columba – which makes him the nephew of the Republican candidate for President. At a recent Republican rally he spoke in fluent Spanish about how his mother had instilled in him the values of Cesar Chavez, the Chicano who organized farmworkers. "She told me we have to fight for our race, we have to find the leaders who represent us," he said. About his uncle the candidate, he said, "This is a President who represents the diversity of our society, who we can count on to change the Republican Party to represent our views." (Reuters, Aug. 2, 2000)
George P is also the president of the president of the Florida-Cuba Federation
"During the first term of the presidency of George W. Bush (whose nephew George P. Bush is now the president of the Florida-Cuba Federation), he and his aides saw China as a 'strategic competitor' (the Pentagon) and as an important trade partner (corporate America), and committed themselves to place the relationship with Beijing at the top of Washington's global agenda.

For instance if a native-born Cuban, now a naturalized U.S. citizen, became President and we invaded Cuba to topple Castro, that act alone would most likely be a very divisive political issue. Was he acting to settle old scores? Or was he acting in the true interest of our country? The Constitution made sure that question need never be asked.
Senator Orrin Hatch was the first to propose this amendment to the Constitution... to allow naturalized Americans to become President. If his amendment were adopted any person who had been a United States citizen for at least twenty years would be eligible to hold the Presidency. This is not a new idea.

Bowman I agree. But I would take it one step further, I would deport the illegals AND THEIR ANCHOR BABIES. The portion of the Constitution that gives automatic citizenship to anyone BORN here must be changed. Citizenship should be earned, not given. But the question for me is how to do that so it only affects the illegals and their litters of children. Honest to God, the only way to handle so many of the complications regarding illegal immigration is to make it impossible for illegals to enter the country in the first place. BRING BACK ELLIS ISLAND!!!!

Yeah, amend it to stop any immigrant from having any top political job.
After I read some of these illegals' comments, socialism, etc.....I don't think we should risk our country to these people!Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

I agree, with a limited level of immigration for at least 10 years, while we straighten out the current mess.
