illegal latinos making all latinos look bad

quote="Immigrantgrl"]its very easy to say cubans are here legally and whatnot. that they embrace this country because they are legals. hello??!! all they had to do was get here in order to get papers, its not like that for everyone else. im sure living under castro is a lot worse than any other country, but you cant compare the legalization process that cubans had to go through to the rest of the immigrants. there are a lot of other immigrants who love this country as well and are willing to fight for it and risk their lives.[/quote]

Well, I came here legally as well from Chile during the time when the communist Allende was in power. I want to know something. Why dont the people of Mexico have pride. Why is it the people who advocate for illegal aliens from Mexico educate them. I am sick and tired of hearing excuses why uneducated illegal aliens cannot learn english. Even if some of them are illiterate, they make english tapes. These so-called hispanic rights activist are so full of it when they say they encourage their people to learn english. It is the hispanic activists who lobby for there to be interpreters everywhere. Not only that, since the esl program was enacted, non-english speaking hispanic students were not learning english as well as they should have been. When I came here, they only taught english from the beginnin. I was allready learning english before we came to this country. I dont even know why they put the children of illegals in esl to be taught in both spanish and english. For one thing, they dont speak proper spanish. During the iberoamerica summit in monte carlo, spain, South American leaders and the King of Spain tried explaining to that pea-brained vicente fox that if he indeed wanted to have good trade/business relations with iberoamerican nations that he needed to begin by focusing on education(which goes in one ear and out the other with fox) so that mexico would be more desirable to do business with. They stressed to Mexico that they had all resurrected and preserved the castillian language(original spanish) as the common dialect when doing business adding that businessmen from South America and Spain should not be expected to learn the mexican dialect . These businessmen could also not believe that corporate ceos in Mexico(who should be highly educated(were unable to understand proper spanish. What makes the people of Mexico think they should get a free ride. Yes, Yes, I know they work. They also depress wages. Why would you want to see your beloved hispanic people degrading themselves by working for at wages that are half that of normal wages. It is exploitation. Why doesnt Mexico protest its government. In south america they do. Another thing, the mexican illegals over here are such seperatists. They dont even try to integrate. Dont they know this only hurts them. It seems their lobbyists encourage this seperatism which results in them fearing the american people. I know as a latina and overhearing conversations that these lobbyists encourage the illegals to hate the gringos. Oh, by the way, gringo is so 20 years ago. It is no wonder why the South America has distanced themselves from Mexico and Central America. These countries have always blamed other nations for their sorrows. They allow themselves to be brainwashed by their corrupt leaders Just so you know, in south america we dont seperate ourselves at all. There are no race issues in South America. In case you dont know, latinos are white, brown, tan, and some even black. We dont make race an issue. Mexico is the only country who makes this an issue. YOu know Mexicans should be greatful to the u.s.. If they were to try this crap in Chile, you dont even want to know what would happen

My Management Information Systems professor was from Chile, Mrs. Grandon, she rocked! she had to move back for 2 years because of her 'commitments' to her homeland.

The Mexican community of 123 million is so large it is easy for them to get the same sort of short sightedness that Americans do. All of the Spanish speaking countries have heir own dialects but with smaller populations the others have to be more open in their relations with the others.

As far as education goes the average level of education is higher among illegals who have spent time here than in Mexico itself. The imposition of the requirement to return to Mexico would boost the level of average education there. A strict policy
of immigration enforcement would be like a Marshall Plan.

I think the ideal is a policy that would result in 90% of the illegal immigrants repatriating over a course of five years. So it would not be all at once but the momentum would reverse.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Mexico sees the USA as a benefactor, by exporting their people and importing their new found American money. That’s why they are worried about the amnesty program. Ann Coulter had the right idea of employing Mexicans to build a wall between the two countries. I would take it a step further and have the wall built by Mexican prisoners. All you have to do is get them out of California prisons.
