NumbersUSA: Duncan Hunter best on immigration

Excerpt from an email I received from NumberUSA this morning:

OVERALL Presidential Candidate Ratings On IMMIGRATION
How Well Would Each Candidate PROTECT Workers, Communities and Taxpayers FROM OVER-IMMIGRATION?

(SEE BELOW FOR HOW POINTS WERE ASSIGNED ON 36-POINT SCALE.)

    EXCELLENT
    34 points:

    DUNCAN HUNTER

    GOOD
    28 points:

    FRED THOMPSON
    22 points:

    MITT ROMNEY

    Fair
    20 points:

    RON PAUL
    18 points:

    MIKE HUCKABEE

    Poor
    8 points:

    RUDY GIULIANI

    Bad
    7 points:

    CHRIS DODD

    JOHN McCAIN
    5 points:

    JOE BIDEN

    JOHN EDWARDS

    DENNIS KUCINICH

    BILL RICHARDSON
    4 points:

    HILLARY CLINTON

    BARACK OBAMA

    HOW POINTS WERE ASSESSED:

Points are based on candidate promises as of 2JAN08 on
    (a) amnesty,
    (b) stoppping future illegal immigration and
    (c) reducing importation of foreign labor competition, plus
    (d) rating of past immigration actions in political office.

Look at full ratings in 16 categories at Presidential Candidate Ratings website.

Points were assigned to the ratings for the first four overall categories: 0 points for "abysmal" rating, 1 for "bad", 3 for "poor", 5 for "fair", 7 for "GOOD" and 9 for "EXCELLENT".
The above needs to be considered if your priority issue is immigration!

According to NumbersUSA, the information was updated and modified just today. Hunter has taken a clear lead on the issue!

I like Duncan. So, tell me. Why is it he has so little support?

Just me, but Hunter is good on illegal immigration, and I would gladly vote for him if he is nominated.

To me, his some of his other ideas are not good - such as school vouchers, same sex marriage, foreign policy, etc. They almost seem like a carbon copy of this President's ideas and this administration can't possibly be so wrong on immigration, trade, domestic policies, etc., and right on foreign policy.

Just my opinion, but once again, if he is nominated, I would certainly vote for him.

To me that is a negative. That is my only concern with him. He appears like more of the same. Except on immigration and he is by far the best left. This is just my perception, so please anyone, feel free to enlighten me on how he has broken with the current administration? I am sure he has, I just am not aware of those facts.

Hunter voted against NAFTA during the Clinton administration, and against CAFTA. Although the "trade agreements" that the Globalists love so much are part and parcel of regionalization schemes, and therefore tied to the illegal invasion, he has also called for scrapping our trade deals with China, and starting all over again. He also recognizes the PRC for the threat it is, which Bush does not seem to. Hunter was instrumental in scuttling the Dubai Ports World Deal, that Bush wanted so bad, he could taste it.

We're from all different backgrounds and persuasions here. I myself spent forty years voting Democrat. Don't throw out the conservative baby with the bathwater because Bush is sitting in it. Anyone that believes that the sanctioned illegal invasion symptom of globalism can be stopped in a liberal, progressive, socialist welfare state needs to keep learning on this issue.
