Mex Pres--MEXICAN COLONIZATION OF US
Tried doing search for previous posts but search not working.
Dear Lord, didn't dream matters this bad! And our government does NOTHING!
Colony: a body of people who settle far from home but maintain ties with their homeland; inhabitants remain nationals of their home state but are not ...
a group of animals of the same type living together
one of the 13 British colonies that formed the original states of the United States
a geographical area politically controlled by a distant country.

President Calderón Meets with Leaders of Mexican Communities in USA
Discuss Strategies For Mexican Colonies in United States
During the meeting, President Calderón exchanged ideas with this group of leaders with the aim of coordinating the government’s main strategies regarding protection, consular assistance and support for the development of Mexican communities abroad.
The President was accompanied by the Secretaries of the Interior, Foreign Affairs, Social Development, Education and Health. In this respect, the occasion enabled those in charge of the various assistance and support programs for Mexican communities abroad to talk to this group with the aim of implementing more effective strategies for the development of Mexican communities abroad.
During the meeting, the community leaders shared their views with the president on the areas where they consider that action by the Mexican government and the consular representations of Mexico could be most useful to Mexicans residing in the United States.
The main matters dealt with at this meeting were consular reinforcement, legal strategies for mitigating the effects of legislative initiatives that harm migrants, political dialog with US organizations, support for the Mexican government within the sphere of economic development, actions for improving the image of Mexicans abroad, and programs of protection and assistance within Mexican Territory.
This meeting is part of a series of activities involving analysis, consultation and rapprochement with Mexican communities abroad, which per the instructions of the president have been organized by the Foreign Affairs Secretariat, and which have included Mexican and American academics involved in the field of migration as well as Mexican consuls in the US cities with the largest Mexican communities.
