    Newsletter from LARAZA Today

Well, just got this in the email from LaRaza!

    Dear Ken:

I'm sure you have heard the uproar over Arizona's new immigration legislation, SB 1070. Have you been wondering what you can do to voice your disgust with this law, which essentially sanctions racial profiling as accepted police practice?

    Well, here's your opportunity!

This morning, NCLR joined with the Asian American Justice Center (AAJC), the National Action Network (NAN), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the National Puerto Rican Coalition (NPRC), the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), and many others to announce a boycott against the state of Arizona in protest of SB 1070.

Now that we've made a public stand to protest this unjust law, we ask that you make a personal pledge to boycott intolerance with us.

So I'm sure you are wondering what this all means. Here's the breakdown:

First, join us in asking Major League Baseball to remove its All-Star Game from Arizona. A significant portion of the players in the game would be at risk of being profiled once they are off the field and out of uniform. Moving the game seems more than reasonable, wouldn't you say?

In addition, by signing the pledge, we commit to carefully considering whether the dollars we spend as consumers of goods and services could end up supporting, directly or indirectly, the perpetuation of this unjust law. If you represent an organization, we ask that you refrain from holding any conventions, conferences, special events, or major meetings involving significant travel to Arizona from out of state, while this law is in force.

We understand that this is not an action to be taken lightly. However, it is clear that the negative impact from the systemic profiling and discrimination that will occur as a result of this unjust law far outweighs the short-term inconveniences of this campaign. So we commit to continuing the boycott until SB 1070 is repealed, overturned by the courts, or superseded by comprehensive federal immigration reform.

Will you and/or your organization stand with us and pledge to boycott Arizona until SB 1070 is repealed?

Americans are rightfully and legitimately concerned with the broken state of our immigration system. But for Arizona to enact an unconstitutional law that invites racial profiling and ethnic discrimination against entire communities is not the right way to move forward. Instead, Congress must take the lead and fulfill its responsibility to fix the broken immigration system before other states follow Arizona's misguided example.

We hope you stand with us against this fundamentally un-American law and join us, united in this effort to protect the civil rights of all Americans by boycotting intolerance.

    Sincerely,

    Clarissa MartÃ*nez De Castro
Director of Immigration and National Campaigns

Keep us posted, I'd want to boycot any business that does this.

Also emailed MLB to keep out of politics or they may lose business from the 60% who support SB1070.

BS. They're not here illegally, they have visas to play professional sports, most of them at a salary we common folks can only dream of. MLB's millionaires should keep their mouths shut and play ball. Maybe it's time to hire American players. The NFL seems to do just fine with citizen players.

Very active here in NYC. We now have 6 "Chinatowns."

New York City's metropolitan area now contains at least 6 Chinatowns, comprising the original Manhattan Chinatown, two in Queens (the Flushing Chinatown and the Elmhurst Chinatown), two in Brooklyn (the Sunset Park Chinatown and the Avenue U Chinatown.

LaRaza is an evil pro-open borders terrorist organization which doesn't give a horse's ass about our laws, borders, sovereignty, constitution and the sacrifices made by those who gave their lives, limbs and blood including myself (50 percent disabled from combat) protecting, defending and preserving everything this organization spits on. It aids, abets and supports those who scurry across our border when the Border Patrol isn't looking and have NO respect and don't care about our laws, sovereignty and the sacrifices made by Americans and who are here only to take and steal what they can from law abiding and hardworking Americans. LaRaza can go to hades. Murguia, Gutierrez, Grijalva, Baccerra, Serrano and the rest of that crap who supports open borders, illegal alien identity thieves and other illegal alien criminals are no more American than Felipe Calderon. They are traitors.......
There is no freedom without the law. Remember our veterans whose sacrifices allow us to live in freedom.

Hello xchange and welcome to alipac. I must inform you that I live in the "Sunset Park Chinatown" and I am quite aware of the fine work ethics of the Chinese, especially where it concerns the education of their children. That though does not give those that came here illegally a pass. Of the large growth of the Chinese population that started to occur here in 1988 much less than half have arrived Legally. You mention Sty High and that is the top school in NYC but there actually six such schools (Bronx Sci, Brooklyn Tech etc,) and Asians account for more than 50% of the student populations in all six BUT Asians are only 12% of the pop of NYC. Many, many of the kids getting the best public educations in NYC are IA Asian kids. My youngest son missed out on going to Brooklyn Tech by 1 question on the entrance exam and there are probably at least 250 illegal Asian immigrants admitted to that school each and every year. Hell every one of the six Special HS's in NYC even set aside seats for kids who are 1) recently arrived in America (2years or less) and 2) who speak English as a second language. So you see American children of NYC are being displaced and that's A FACT!

hello. thanks for the welcome. yup i know Bronx Science too. but i thought Brooklyn Tech was a college. Anyway, I didnt know there are illegal alien asians in Sty High. i do agree with you they shouldnt get a pass. but what do you do if the child is super smart with an IQ of 1000 (exaggerated a bit , but u know what i'm getting at). it is really hard to get into Sty High , Bronx Science ...i think these schools look at the grades and the intellect of the child more than ratio. i mean i'm one to admit i maybe smart but not as equally or remotely smart as the kids who went and is currently at Styvesant High School. just my 2 cents.

i do know kids in regular public schools in nyc have it tougher. the schools are overcrowded because illegal aliens who not only don't speak english, the other students are held back (not left back) so their illegal alien latin students can at least catch up with the rest if that.
