A revolution in Mexico, means a great deal to oppressed people around the world, and especially oppressed people within the u.s. The revolution in Mexico can and will spill over into the u.s. The imperialist government of the united states has always dominated politically and economically the government in Mexico. They’re responsible for NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) and other economic policies that steal resources from indigenous people and farmers from Mexico, forcing them to leave their homes and migrate to the u.s. to survive. They have always put in place the governments in Mexico that will follow their orders. The u.s. has armed and trained the militaries, police, and paramilitaries that massacre, rape, disappear, repress the oppressed people and their communities in Mexico. The u.s is the overseer in the misery people around the world suffer.

At the same time oppressed people in the u.s. are being killed, repressed, raped, exploited, and imprisoned.

The organizations, groups, collectives and individuals from both sides of the US-Mexico border who are part of the National Campaign with the Other Politics for a National Program of Leftist Struggle and for a New Constitution (The Other Campaign), call to friends and adherents and sympathizers of the 6th Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle, to laborers, youth, indigenous people, those in social struggle, intelectuals, artists and all those out there who identify with struggles from the left and from below to participate in the First Across-Borders Encounter, taking place in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, on the 15, 16 and 17 of September, 2006.

We, conveners of the First Across-Borders Encounter of the Other Campaign, repudiate all the practices that privilege violations of all kinds of powerful people that from above rule against those from below, and not by coincidence, those from the left.

Please join us at a protest at the local Tucson Wal-Mart for Wal-Mart’s role in the repression and brutality unleashed on the people of San Salvador Atenco.

I support working people in there struggle agianst the government of Mexico and the United States. The Rhino does not support illegal labors stuggle against either america or its citizens as it is competion for the american worker.

The mexican worker needs to take back his government. The Rhino thinks a good thought for them that they succeed.
