I love the last post by Patriot. He's got a point there. We shed blood in 1776, but we seem to be in a fog now. Will we give up without a fight?

If the figure 10% someone posted for the Latino population is accurate, then all we may have to do is buy guns in massive numbers across the country and spread rumors of an uprising. Just maybe they would scoot.

However, even though they are only 10%, they have major strongholds in areas and act as the dominate race in those areas. Also, these folks are used to fighting. They seem to have more of it in their blood than many Americans do today. Intensity is the key. We need more of it.

The hope is the J.D. Hayworth "Enforcement First" is adopted, and the attrition solves the problems with no violence. If not, then it's either war deux with them or we say mercy with inaction.
If they really were fighters they would stay in their own countries and fix them. Cowards is what they really are.

    From the Pew Hispanic Center

    U.S. Population Projections: 2005-2050

    Report Materials
    Complete Report

    Other Resouces
If current trends continue, the population of the United States will rise to 438 million in 2050, from 296 million in 2005, and 82% of the increase will be due to immigrants arriving from 2005 to 2050 and their U.S.-born descendants, according to new projections developed by the Pew Research Center.

Of the 117 million people added to the population during this period due to the effect of new immigration, 67 million will be the immigrants themselves and 50 million will be their U.S.-born children or grandchildren.

Among the other key population projections:

    • Nearly one in five Americans (19%) will be an immigrant in 2050, compared with one in eight (12%) in 2005. By 2025, the immigrant, or foreign born, share of the population will surpass the peak during the last great wave of immigration a century ago.

    • The major role of immigration in national growth builds on the pattern of recent decades, during which immigrants and their U.S.-born children and grandchildren accounted for most population increase. Immigration's importance increased as the average number of births to U.S.-born women dropped sharply before leveling off.

    • The Latino population, already the nation's largest minority group, will triple in size and will account for most of the nation's population growth from 2005 through 2050. Hispanics will make up 29% of the U.S. population in 2050, compared with 14% in 2005.

    • Births in the United States will play a growing role in Hispanic and Asian population growth; as a result, a smaller proportion of both groups will be foreign-born in 2050 than is the case now.

    • The non Hispanic white population will increase more slowly than other racial and ethnic groups; whites will become a minority (47%) by 2050.

    • The nation's elderly population will more than double in size from 2005 through 2050, as the baby boom generation enters the traditional retirement years. The number of working age Americans and children will grow more slowly than the elderly population, and will shrink as a share of the total population.

The Center's projections are based on detailed assumptions about births, deaths and immigration levels--the three key components of population change. All these assumptions are built on recent trends. But it is important to note that these trends can change. All population projections have inherent uncertainties, especially for years further in the future, because they can be affected by changes in behavior, by new immigration policies, or by other events. Nonetheless, projections offer a starting point for understanding and analyzing the parameters of future demographic change.

The Center's report includes an analysis of the nation's future "dependency ratio"--the number of children and elderly compared with the number of working age Americans. There were 59 children and elderly people per 100 adults of working age in 2005. That will rise to 72 dependents per 100 adults of working age in 2050.

The report also offers two alternative population projections, one based on lower immigration assumptions and one based on higher immigration assumptions.

    Agree Draindog.

What I mean by guns in massive numbers is that we need to get permits to carry them outright.

Any illegal hanging out in a country with armed citizens would have to feel intimidated.

Just the sight of guns sends a loud nonverbal, nonviolent message. Then spread rumors throughout the whold country of a massive uprising. I bet many will scoot right on out of here and we fired no shots. And NO AMNESTY either.

As long as American taxpayers are required to provide for the care, feeding and education of illegal aliens' children, this population will continue to explode.

47% of 438 million....in 40 years, thats a drastic decline in whites in the USA. we cant be dieing of at that rate, i call BS. and, even so, that leaves 200+million that includes my kids and grand kids. ill be 88 if i make it that long. the peew la ratza center is just writing more checks that cant be cashed, more gun jumping. way too many variables for any projection that far ahead imo. as for the open carry thing scaring these aliens somehow, its a great idea and a realism in arizona. not too many of them seem to be hindered, now the 1070 law, that strikes the fear of god in the ingrates. they have been hiding behind our very laws of the land, teasing, marching, waving mexican flags etc, DEMANDING to be given amnesty, GIMME-GIMME-GIMME. they all know EXACTLY what they can get away with, and they also know americans are armed, especially republicans. the uprising you speak of will be ours countering theirs if anything. if our own republikan bush couldnt pass an amnesty 2 times, it aint happening. if hussain trys to jam it down our throats via executive order, illegal aliens i fear wont be the biggest fish sliding into a pan of HOT grease. i know americans and they can get real nasty when riled.

best case scenario: our CIC does nothing for illegals, the elections will be here soon, and republicans will dominate them, wheres all this hopey changey crap gonna be fueled then? and theres no way the USA will vote this guy in for another 4 years. the incoming president elect will repeal socialized health care, now the numbers on that are staggeringy rediculous! 2/3 of congress will be regained as well. this is REAL. the pew HC doesnt want its uneducated base to have this explained to them,as a bitter truth. rabble rousing the alien masses with manufactured and or mis-info is a last ditch effort by these groups.wait an see how november stops alot of this garbage in its tracks, ill be posting gladly how south america is repatriating by millions.
