Mexican media blaming Mexican govt for NAFTA
A national program in Mexico called "Tercer grado" where mayor news journalists come together to talk about topics that affect Mexico, are blamming the Mexican government for the problems that the new NAFTA provisions are causing in the Mexican agriculture.
Joaquin Lopez Doriga, Mexico's most important news journalist said: "The Mexican government is treating the NAFTA agriculture provisions as if it where an earthquake, as if no one new what would happen in January 1st, 2008. Everyone new that this day would eventually come and the Mexican goverment did nothing to prevent this economic disaster in the agriculture industry".
Other journalists are also blaming the lack of aid to the agriculture industry by the goverment and the lack of diversification as the cause of the Mexican agriculture collapse.
Journalist Carlos Marin added: "The two people responsible for the problems that NAFTA is causing in the Ag sector is President Ernesto Zedillo and President Vicente Fox. They failed to modernize the Ag sector and allow Mexico to assume its responsibilities under the rules of NAFTA".
Kudos to you all journalists!

The Mexican farmers don't want NAFTA and neither do we. Hope the protests in Mexido get results.
"The State Department reminds U.S. citizens to avoid participating in demonstrations and other activities that might be deemed political by Mexican authorities. The Mexican Constitution prohibits political activities by foreigners, and such actions may result in detention and/or deportation."

We should have that provision added to our Constitution. It may cut down on the taxpayer funded marches by the illegals.

A Quote for Dragonfly
Dragonfly: "Those who would give up their freedom for security will have none and deserve neither." Thomas Jefferson.
Freedom of speech for all is one of the freedoms that makes the USA a great country. At the web site for Radical Immigration they argue that we could have much less "illegal" immigration if accepted the idea that responsible people have the right to live where they choose and then adjust our treatment of our next door neighbor to that idea.

I don't know which website you're referring to, but it really doesn't matter, but, in fact, there is NO RIGHT to live where ever one wants. It is a privilege and a privilege ONLY to be able to enter another country and on it's own terms. It is as simple as that....Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I am sure, that there are many homeowners here that would stand against a person who chose to live in their home, you know, living where they wanted to, as it would be much simpler to just go live off of someone else's success and then you could have that "better life"!!!!
However, I only rent, and if some bum decided that instead of making life work for himself, and finding his own place, he'd come live with my family in our already too small rental (which we pay for out of our own earned income), I'd kick his butt to the curb.
So it is NO different that we Americans work our fannies off for what is within the borders of our nation, we grow the food, we build the homes, we pave the roads, we build the infrastructure (with our taxes and time), we raise the next generations, and to have invaders think they can come in and do as they please, when they have neither worked to come here legally, plus they have no concern that they are invading our HOME.
Sorry:
