    Absolut vodka pulls ad showing California in Mexico

    MEXICO CITY – The distillers of Sweden's Absolut vodka have withdrawn an advertisement run in Mexico that angered many U.S. citizens by idealizing an early 19th century map showing chunks of the United States as Mexican.
    The billboard ad has the slogan “In an Absolut Worldâ€
    "Distrust and caution are the parents of security."

    A war between Mexico and the United States from 1846 to 1848 started with Mexico's refusal to recognize the U.S. annexation of Texas and ended with the occupation of Mexico City by U.S. troops.
    What? Did anybody else hear we ANNEXED Texas prior to the war, it is not what I was taught.

    Well at least they are now publicly admitting Reconquista is NOT something made up by us anti-illegal nut cases.


    This has brought to light and highlighted the word RECONQUISTA and whats its all about. And the blogs make known the thoughts and stance of lots of people north and south of the border. A lot of stupidity exists and its good that the truth is coming out.
