Below is the text of message sent to James Gilchrist, founder of the MinuteMen. James Gilchrist's response follows this alarming message.



"We reject everything about the minutemen. The minutemen function and exist when the rest of us, the vast majority of us, remain silent. Even in an environment of fear and uncertainty we all know that immigrants are not the reason for America's problems, nor should they be the powerless scapegoat. Because the vast majority of us look upon slavery, japanese interment and manifest destiny as sick, tragic pages in our history, we have no tolerance for these hyper-patriotic bigots, masquerading as virtuous citizens. It is our intention to resist, sabotage, and destroy this project before it gets any farther down this road of organized hate and violence.

What we propose to do about it:

We want you to do this yourself. We must take direct action to stop the MinuteMen. We can swarm the MinuteMen and make all of their communication systems useless. Together, we can conduct information warfare against these modern day white hooded vigilantes.

We must let the MinuteMen know what the world thinks of their violent, racist plans. With your help, we can swarm the MinuteMen and stop this organized racism and hatred in its tracks.

When the MinuteMen restart their border patrols again in June, we can physically interfere with their operations. Go to wherever the MinuteMen are in your area and stop them from operating. We will provide more info later on their locations. Until then, we can anonymously and autonomously act against the MinuteMen using electronic disturbance.

Swarm the racist minutemen!

Telephone Campaign:

Simply pick up the phone and call the minutemen at xxx-xxx-xxxx.

When you call, make sure to dial *67 then the number so that your phone number does not show up on their caller id.

You can tell them what you really think, or just politely ask questions and waste their time. Every minute they spend with you is time they're not talking to a volunteer.

You could call them over and over and pretend to be a different person each time.

Then if you want to, you can send us an e-mail through the "anonymous remailer" located on the sidebar to the right and tell us what you said.

We will share it with everyone else and we can all learn from each other what works and what does'nt.

Faxes, Faxes and more Faxes

It's best to fax from a copy place rather than your home or work place.

You might want to fax them interesting photos or photocopies or you might want to fax them big black sheets of paper. All of their applications are received via fax, so those fax machines are important to them!

Probably the best thing you could do would be to fax out a "fake" volunteer application form (using false information of course). Just bypass the "photocopy your drivers licence" part. They will most likely want to call to let you know that you forgot to attach it. Then use some creative phone numbers so that when they call, they might find themselves them calling someone they didn't expect.

E-mails of Every Shape Size and Color

You can email them at: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Ask useless questions, pretend to be interested, or just give them a piece of your mind. Either tactic will do the trick.

You can also send them very large attachments like high resolution pictures or long documents about civil rights or the many ways to prepare bananas. Whatever is big!! This will fill up their mail quotas and make it harder for them to receive their real email.

If you want to be anonymus when emailing them, simply use the "anonymous remailer" located on the sidebar to the right and type in :

Sound Pollution

On the minutemen website they have said the following:

"Use ear phones for radios at night. Try to remain as quiet and stealthy as possible; sound travels great distances at night. A cough can travel a half-mile away. Remember, your mind can play tricks on you at night. The slightest sound will be cause for your imagination to run wild. Be assured, you will know a group is approaching by their distinct sound."

So what we are suggesting is simply this: if the minutemen are opperating in your area... or even if they are not, and you feel like making a road trip, get out there, day or night , and make some noise!

Bring your friends, bring a radio, bring some pots and pans. You will most likely get harrassed by the border patrol but if the minutemen are allowed to be out there then so are you. The border patrol may try to tell you that you have to leave, but they have no jurisdiction over legal U.S. residents and so the best thing you can do is to be polite, humor them if you can, but do not let them scare you off.

If you are making too much noise and they say you are breaking some noise ordance, appoligize and bring it down a notch, it will still be a deterant to the minutemen..even if you are simply sneezing a lot!"

Be advised that such contrived, malicious action will lead to prosecution under the RICO, or similar, statutes.


Also, you, and your gang members will be held civilly liable for injuries or damages inflicted upon any Minuteman/woman or child volunteer. Yes, we have lawyers, too. And much to your chagrin, we also have civil rights.


Actually, your threat in itself is an illegal act. The Federal Communications Commission will be very interested in your felonious plans to "jam" United States communication air waves. Also, anti-spamming laws will conflict with your deliberate attempt to bring down a company's fax, telephone, or other communications systems.


Your attempt to deprive Americans of their civil rights proves that racism, bigotry and fascism comes in ALL races, colors and creeds. Are you a member of Al Qaeda? Or, are you just a small-time domestic terrorist?
