Just call me cynical, but I suspect that web page entirely. I bet the company that bought the webspace and URL is using this "poor wife left behind" message to sell stuff. For one thing, it is written in perfect English.

No doubt, families are separated . No doubt, women and children are left behind (or else why are millions of dollars being sent back). However, I bet most of the women are thrilled to get money and want keep him here working and sending it.These men didn't just run over here without conferring with wife and family.

I don't buy the pathos . The page is for commercial gain using sympathy as a hook for sales. I bet the stories are faked as well. Women selling jewelry to make a pitiful living are not likely to make up a web page in such a professional manner. The business probably belongs to a conglomerate wise in the ways of marketing.
