Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.
A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown. Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you", he said on National Television.
"I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia: one the Australian law and another Islamic law that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option", Costello said.

Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other country. Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should "clear off. Basically people who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want, to live by Australian values and understand them, well then, they can basically clear off", he said.
Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, Canadian, American and English citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths !

Now why can't our American politicians GET IT, the way Australians do?

THEY GOT THAT RIGHT. IF YA DONT LIKE IT LEAVE. IMMIGRANTS ARE STARTING TO REMIND ME OF A BAD ROOMMATE. YOU KNOW THAT KIND.....NEVER DO THE DISHES....INVITE THEIR FRIENDS OVER TO MESS UP THE HOUSE......NEVER PAY THE RENT ON TIME....ALWAYS AN EXCUSE....THEIR DOG MESSES UP THE CARPET....THEY EAT YOUR FOOD....WHEN ITS THEIR TURN TO MOW THE LAWN THEY CANT BE FOUND...YOU KNOW THE TYPE. THEN WHEN YOU ASK THEM TO MOVE THEY ARE UPSET BECAUSE YOU ARE BEING SO UNFAIR TO THEM. AND THEY WANT THEIR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK....EVEN THOUGH YOU ALREADY HAD TO SPEND IT TO REPLACE THE CARPET.

I love this guy. I just wish we had someone in the US who had the guts to act the same way. Someone who would speak up for the Americans.

I was thinking, which one of our potential leaders would have the nerve to take a stand like this.

It is so sad that we have no one, to represent the majority of americans.


They all want to sell us down the river.

Well there ya go! Now how hard was that? That guy deserves a round of applause.

Australia is not like the U.S. or the United Kingdom, Aussies are mostly of Scottish descent and tend to get pissed off very quickly. Moslems there best be forwarned if they push their luck, they will get thrown out rather quickly.

History shows that you DO NOT mess with the Scots!

In 1745 the Scots lost their battle with England over the union that had been bought, many Scots had inscribed on their swords "saorsa no bas" (freedom or death), after the fall of Culloden the English invaded the Highlands killing and raping and destroyed the clan system up there.
Many were placed into servitude and others gave away their children into servitude because they had no food to feed them others were simply killed.
This is why we have so many Scots through out the world, Novia Scotia is Latin for new Scotland and gaelic is still spoken there.
An entire people were destroyed by a union they did not want by a group of greedy people they didn't want to be governed by.
