Miami Students Trek to DC for Immigrant Rights
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Filed at 12:18 p.m. ET
MIAMI (AP) -- While their fellow college students sleep off the night's revelry, four South Florida students are celebrating the New Year with a slightly more active approach.
On Friday, the group embarked on a 1,500 mile trek from Miami to Washington, D.C., that they are calling the ''Trail of Dreams.'' Their goal is to raise support for changes in immigration law.
Twenty-year-old Juan Rodriguez and the others, all immigrants, plan to walk the distance and expect supporters to join them along the way. They plan to arrive in the capital May 1, in time for massive immigrant rights rallies.
They want Congress to give illegal immigrants a path to citizenship. They also want the federal government to stop deporting illegal immigrants who have spouses or children who are U.S. citizens.

I wonder who paid their tuition, that is now going to waste, or are they taking the semester off? Are these "students" legal permanent residents? Are they illegal aliens?
Who do they except to join them in a 4 month hike? Most people have jobs and lives. Unless these four are independently wealthy or planning to sleep on the streets, how are they paying for meals, hotels? Chances are they are sponsored by enablers of cheap labor aka illegal immigration, wouldn't these sponsors be guilty of aiding and abetting?

These are not four college students, they are four racists. Why? Would they trek all those miles if it were Irish, German, or Italian illegals??? I think not.
