I know the title is a bit misleading but

Many of us are into internet activism that includes forums , comment sections and calling our elected reps

MAKE NO MISTAKE

The DHS is looking for ANYTHING they can construe as a threat against anyone , members of congress, law enforcement , the president or any elected official.

BE VERY CAREFUL , Think out your statements before you write them.

Most of you veterans of the physic wars are well aware of the rules of the road. this is just a quick warning and reminder.

I can tell you how easily it is to get dinged , but I'd do it in a personal message and not here. I've been there done that. A simple conversation in a forum is all it takes.

Please , BE CAREFUL

Who's gonna protect us from them?

Let me clarify this. DHS is looking for anything they can deem as threats from American citizens opposed to their nation transforming open borders agenda.

If you are someone like me or an organization like ALIPAC, people can encourage others to beat you and kill you with hand grenades and DHS and FBI will not assist you.

I wish I could disagree with you but I wouldn't have a leg to stand on. We are in a full on tyranny with our illustrious govt right now. Very sad.

Your message is taken as it is intended. I do not worry about my core ALIPACERS, it is the sudden imflamatory stories from newbies that often concern me. Most of us here police each other and are quick to recognize trolls trying to incite a reaction from us.

Many of us that have been here over the years have already experienced the invasion of our systems. Experience has taught us to recognize the signs of when we are being monitored. We are also well aware that many of our comments or concerns have been quoted on the media.

As in life it is always wise to be constantly aware of your surroundings and to whom you are in contact with. I try to use the guidelines of checking out the source of the information before commenting on any blog. Many times when I am not really familiar with the blogger I will go to their profile and research what kind of articles and what their viewpoints have thus far been.

There has been times that I have a gut feeling that the blogger is not sincere and simply trying to incite a particular reaction from us. At those times I usually watch in the background until I am satisfied for myself the truth of the situation. Then and only then I choose to react or to ignore.

I know this causes a lot of my post to be less passionate than my fellow ALIPACERS but as a retired technical writer in the hi-tech industry I am all to well aware of the legaleze of what I say or write.

I believe we will only win this fight by educating ourselves and others. The facts are on our side. Constructive Confrontation teaches you that you will lose every argument when the focus is taken off the issue and turns personel. This is what happened to the Dream Act. They did not have the facts on their side so they made it a personnel attack. As soon as they did that they only succeeded in making the American public mad.

As long as they continue to have no facts to support the legalization of illegal immigrants and continue to personally attack anyone that opposes them they will continue to lose the battle.

My message was mainly intended for the new people

You will never know fear until the FBI knocks on your door late at night

I have been fingerprinted so many times I have perm inking of the fingers. Between security guard, dispatching, police commissioner, military, and the list goes on and on. I am not worried about them watching me. If they are watching me I then know where they are. Old sniper trick. lol. Heck in the Regan era when we were not suppose to talk to Russia...as a ham radio operator I made something like 400 plus contacts with the USSR. I am sure they have a folder on me and to be honest am not worried. Gov officials are not going to visit montana anyway. (MOD edit) Its a way of life here.
