The drugs were netted during searches at the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa passenger ports of entry between April 16 to April 22.

According to officials, more than 2,274 pounds of pot, 58 pounds of cocaine, 2.6 pounds of heroin and 2.7 pounds of meth were confiscated by officers. The total street value of the drugs is worth approximately $7.5 million, officials said.

The largest pot seizure was found hidden in the bed of a 1988 Ford F-150 pickup truck, according to officials. Agents said they were alerted to the drugs by a narcotics detector dog during an inspection. The 55-year-old driver from Tijuana was arrested.

In addition, agents said a SENTRI participant was arrested for allegedly smuggling a Mexican woman into the U.S. under a blanket in the back of a sport utility vehicle.

Officers also apprehended 19 fugitives on various warrants for crimes ranging from forgery to kidnapping and drug-related parole violations.
