We Add Barbour to PREZ HOPEFUL GRID as Worst of GOP...

    http://www.numbersusa.com/content/nusab ... s-top.html

We have rated and added Gov. Haley Barbour (R-Miss.) as the 9th person on our 2012 Presidential Hopefuls Grid.

Twelve months before the Iowa Caucuses, Barbour's immigration platform ranks him as the WORST of the GOP Hopefuls who (a) have shown some interest in running for President in 2012, (b) have not ruled out running, (c) are showing up in popularity polling, and (d) are considered by political analysts to have fundraising capacity.

Look in the next section of this blog for the improvements for recently retired Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-Minn.).

Barbour's immigration platform right now is even worse than that of former House Speaker Gingrich who previously held the distinction as worst among the Republicans.

You can always get to our Prez Grid by clicking on the big red Compare Presidential Hopefuls button in the right column of our home page at www.NumbersUSA.com. Or view the 9 Hopefuls with this link:

You can view all the supporting info and links for why we rate each of the Hopefuls as we do in 12 immigration policies by clicking on their photo at the top of the Grid. View Barbour's individual page at:

    http://www.numbersusa.com/content/actio ... rbour.html

If you are a fan of Gov. Barbour for reasons other than immigration and want to help him, use the contact information at the top of his page to let him know how disappointed you are in his immigration stances and to make specific suggestions for him to improve his Immigration Platform Grade in the weeks ahead.

See lower in this blog more specifics about what we found when we researched Gov. Barbour's full immigration platform...

Pawlenty has moved up a notch though. He recently went to a hispanic illegal pander meet and said stuff like we are a "nation of laws" and its not right for officials in power to quietly look the other way, nod, or wink at breaking our laws. He also has said vaguely its not right to bring in foreign workers when so many Americans are needing a job.

Pawlenty has a backbone to go after the big issues. He won't put himself out fully so early in the line-up to avoid backlash heat before the ball really starts moving but I think he may have what it takes. He can also probably succeed in the fund raising aspect. However as he's not well known and in some areas already having issues from stances against Public Unions he may be a hard contender to float.

I'd like to see Pawlenty and Gov Christi pair up personally. Pawlenty as President and Christi as VP as Christi wants some experience first.

Guess better cross Christi off my list heh. I agree with him in the stance about Public Unions though but screw amnesty and upholding the status quo.

Deport every last one of them and their anchor babies. Military on the border and you try and cross you get treated just like any other country would treat an illegal.

Hope the GOP can come up with better candidates that what I see on this list. Other wise it is possible that we may have 4 more years of Obammy.

Let's hope Herman Cain gets some movement. Not a career politician or a traitor.

I'm worried it may be Pallin. To many Rep voters dislike her (myself included) and I just don't see her winning over Obama.

But they really need to get to work soon starting to get names known out there. Right now only a few of the names are known a bit on the national level and all of them look like bad choices. The 3 better choices on the list are relatively unknown across the states.

Hope come Feb/March we start backing some specific candidate from the anti illegal alien groups and the Tea Party together.
