Thread: Mitt Romney will endorse John McCain as the GOP nominee

From CNN ticker Mitt Romney will endorse John McCain as the GOP nominee for president, CNN has learned.

I guess he wants a VP spot.

Confirms my original opinion that Romney is a fake. Ron Paul has already said he would never endorse McPain.

I guess that means that Romney supporters should vote for McCain.

NEVER!

McCain is the official nominee of the Republican party. Romney is only endorsing him to try to bring the party together----plus he is afraid that a Dem will get elected who will not take the necessary steps to protect US citizens and our country against terrorists.

I will NEVER vote for him as well.

That will not change my position against McCain.

I dont know yet what it will take for me to
vote for McCain, maybe Romney for VP and
Tancredo for Secretary of HS.

We need to derail McCain just as this article says. We need to still vote for RP or Romney to keep McCain from getting the 300 or so delegates that he needs.

I don't think that Romney would have a lot of power in a VP position. Tancredo connected to Homeland Security would be effective.

I would only feel comfortable voting for McCain if.............

--He chose Romney as VP running mate and said that all issues dealing with immigration laws and illegals----as well as our economy---- will be the responsibility of Romney.

--Tancredo in charge of Homeland Security is able to make all decisions regarding border security and interior enforcement regarding illegals and potential terrorists.

Skippy, a vote for Romney is a delegate for McCain.
