Politicians to Austin Residents all are weighing in on Arizona's tough law designed to combat illegal immigration. Protests against Arizona's new immigration law, are taking place all across the country, including in the City of Austin.
At Hoovers Cooking in East Austin Friday, the lunch crowd is as diverse as the menu and so are their points of view on this issue.

My concern is if they travel to Arizona they are going to be at risk of being harassed, put in jail by accident because of this new law,â€

You wanna know what's really sad? I'm a liberal, so I am a member of typically liberal forums. They posted a story about the MLB boycotting AZ. As a response, I posted the story about the AZ deputy that was shot and showed them why AZ needed to pass this. The response? "If they don't have the guy in custody, how do they know he's an undocumented "illegal" immigrant? Oh, that's right... he had brown skin... they must all be illegal"
Ummmm......maybe because AZ is on the SOUTHERN border and I highly doubt a white Canadian was the one that shot the guy? I love my brothers and sisters from both sides of politics, but these uber-liberals are really starting to piss me off. They have NO clue, because they are sheltered from the insanity, yet they think they have the right to tell AZ or anybody what to do?Don't think about all the things you fear, just be glad you're here.
