Thread: Elvira's sancutary pastor on Luis Gutierrez's payroll 04-09

Walter L. "Slim" Coleman is the guy who had Elvira Arellano, a convicted criminal, living in an apartment above his so-called church for a fully year in defiance of our federal government who did nothing. Betcha you did not know the following money was being paid to him!! I wonder did Luis pressure DHS to leave her alone while she was there? As soon as she left the apartment for LA she was apprehended and deported. Another case of our tax dollars at work and the money trail of corruption.

I wonder why a story on this hasn't went national?

Was Gutierrez actually paying Coleman to keep Elvira in the news? If so, someone needs to bust this story wide-open because Gutierrez was not adhering to ethical and moral principles that would normally be expected of a member of Congess.

Is there a way to find out what services Coleman was providing to Gutierrez?

Yes and his wife Emma Lozano is organizing a demonstration against Obama at the White House on Thursday when he is meeting with Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. It is on the basis that they are not doing enough to support Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

Anyone remember when Coleman and the hundreds of illegals he took to DC were able to storm the Capitol Building, overwhelming security which was a lighter than normal staff because it was a holiday or something?

And remember how NO ONE was arrested for this?

Coleman, being a staffer, would've known that they could surprise and overwhelm security that day and it's also why he wasn't arrested.

Wonder who else is on staff for this pos? Anyone checked into his big-mouthed wife?

Yes, somebody get this story out. Gutierrez needs to be called out on this.

Why would a US Rep. be associated with a person such as Coleman? Much less paying him. Look at his past.

I definitely agree with you both MW and Capt.R.

For this to have been such a closely kept secret for 5 years now is enough to raise suspicion in and of itself.

Combined with everything else we've seen from Coleman, Lozano, and Gutierrez, something stinks about this way more than usual.

I think someone also needs to look into the real story behind Elvira because if everyone remembers there was alot which didn't add up once she was deported.

She was passed off as a poor, illiterate, Mexican peasant doomed to a life of abject poverty if deported while supposedly holed up in that church.

However, within days of her deportation, she magically reappeared very well connected to the Mexican government, made up, coiffed, dressed in business attire and not sounding so illiterate and peasant-like all of a sudden. I also seem to recall that when questions were being raised about if she was really who they had claimed she was, the possibility of her being a Mexican government agent, etc. all of a sudden she was not so front and center as she had been.

Nope.....something is definitely wrong with this picture and I'll bet that that Flor person was taken into sanctuary just to throw people off the trail. That would explain why she hasn't been getting the attention Elvira did.....she's a dupe.

As an Illinois activist I am very familiar with Slim and Emma. Emma came to Waukegan when we were voting for 287g. She had the gall to speak to our council and make demands.

May 17, 2009 - Unlike the United States Capital, U.S. Senator Roland Burris was not barred from entering the Belvedere Mall in Waukegan, Illinois yesterday to address a crowd of open border groups. particularly; Family Latina Unida, Elvira Arellano’s group, and Central Sin Fronteras (without borders) whose executive director, Emma Lozano acted as emcee and interpreter for the event.

Ms. Lozano, an anarchist, is the sister of Rudy Lozano, the person credited for bringing the Mexican and Puerto Rican communities together behind Chicago’s first Black Mayor, Harold Washington’s campaign.

Rudy was also the Midwest field organizer for the old International Ladies Garment Workers Union, before he was gunned down execution style in the kitchen of his Little Village home, back in 1983.
