Human Rights Watch has announced that at least 91 cases of sexual violence occurred over the past four days in Tahrir Square, with several cases of rape being reported.
The Deputy Middle East Director of HRW stated, "The rampant sexual attacks during the Tahrir Square protests highlight the failure of the government and all political parties to face up to the violence that women in Egypt experience on a daily basis in public spaces."
According to HRW, there were five attacks on June 28th, 46 on June 30th, 17 on July 1st, and 23 on July 2nd.
The most common situations reported by women always started when a woman would suddenly be encircled by groups of young men and separated from her friends or family. In certain cases, women are dragged and taken to other areas where the sexual violence continues. In multiple cases, the attacks lasted close to an hour, leading to several hospitalizations.
HRW has also stated that women have reported being beaten with metal pipes, sticks, chairs and attacked with knives. HRW has condemned the "lack of interest by the government" and stated that such attacks are led by a culture of impunity.

Updates from Egypt - New Details of Military's Road Map and News:
Egypt's state-run newspaper Al-Ahram has declared the "fall of Morsi" and has outlined new details of the Armed Forces' proposed roadmap. According to the proposal, the roadmap will:
1. The Egyptian army will establish a three-member Presidential council that will be chaired by the head of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
2. The roadmap proposes a 9-12 month transitional period which will include a neutral transitional government that will be headed by a military leader (perhaps as Prime Minister? - unclear as of yet).
3. Draft a new constitution in a transitional period to draw the path to Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
4. Under current Military plans, President Morsi will either resign before the deadline or he will be removed from power by the Armed Forces' roadmap.
*****4:45:00 left until the deadline expires*****

In other news (11:15 AM Local Time):
1. The radical Gamaa Al-Islamiya has changed its stance on the current situation and has called on President Morsi to hold early Presidential elections. The group had previously rejected calls and stated that the President must continue his term.
2. Muslim Brotherhood leader Essam El-Erian has declared that "freedom and legitimacy is more valuable than life" and has stated that the Egyptian Army's fate will be similar to that of the Syrian regime's army as the "years of military coups are over." El-Erian also said that "the Egyptian people...reject thuggery and bullying by certain political powers and the media."
3. Reports indicate that Former President Hosni Mubarak believes that President Morsi to step down in order to "save lives." Mubarak is reported to have stated that the number of protesters in the past few days are much larger than those who demonstrated against him in 2011. Mubarak added that he responded to the demands of the people and resigned in order to prevent more Egyptian blood from being spilled, and called for President Morsi to do the same.
4. The National Salvation Front and the Tamarod Campaign have called for Egypt's Armed Forces to arrest President Morsi for the incitement of violence. More information soon.
