Something bad is taking place at the border.

Many migrants who want to cross the 1,820 mile border between Mexico and the United States must come to terms with more than three thousand MS gang members who keep watch over the border crossings like turkey vultures.

I bet if we had ARMED SOLDIERS on the border the gangs would be wiped out completely. That is the only solution.

They specialize in transporting arms and drugs across the border. Most of the weapons come from El Salvador – - the homeland of most of the gang members – - where a hand grenade sells for $10; an M-16 rifle for $200; and an AK-47 for $1,500. The Maras have made a fortune by purchasing such weapons and selling them to members of other street gangs throughout the U.S.

But, but . . . I thought 95% of guns in Mexico come from the U.S., not El Salvador. We need to guard the border against guns flowing to the south.

And, now that MS 13 has gained control of the border, we are going to need the military.

But, it won't end without a fight.

What needs to be remembered here is that MS 13 is not a "gang". They are an army of enemy combatants just the same as any group of enemy combatants our military is fighting overseas.

And, it's my belief, that's where the problem lies as well as why we haven't, and probably won't, see our military used to combat MS 13.

If our government were to send our troops to the border, it would be seen as an official act of declaring ourselves at war with Mexico. Were they to use our troops to go after these people inside of the US, it would not be viewed as what it is.......ridding ourselves of large groups of enemy combatants and literal terrorists.....but, rather, a civil war in this country.

Such a scenario would be met with tantrums from Mexico, rebukes from the UN, screaming tirades from the special interests en masse, as well as big business. There's no one currently in government who has the backbone to stand up and do what's right for the American people over kowtowing to everyone else.
